I Stocked Up On This Lush Scent Because It’s All That (And I’m Terrified It’ll Disappear)
You may or may not know but Lush Sticky Dates is currently trending across social media. Lush Sticky Dates Shower Gel launched in 2020 for the celebration of Eid al-Fitr but since that time Lush has introduced several more products scented like it over the course of the last month and a half for Fall 2024. I was a little eh on this when it released contained sandalwood and that’s not a bad thing as the note is nice but I wasn’t sure if I’d like it and thought it might lean more masculine. But it turned out delicious…! It smelled like vanilla cupcake with a creamy buttercream! It’s a very warm, inviting fragrance with beautiful buttery notes!
This year, Lush went all out with the scent and we now not only have Sticky Dates Shower Gel but also, Sticky Dates Body Scrub, Sticky Dates Body Lotion, Sticky Dates Soap, and Sticky Dates Body Mist. Let me tell you, I went crazy when I saw it all in store and hauled every last bit of it.
I had already had the Sticky Dates Body Mist as it was introduced several weeks ago but I didn’t have the scrub or the lotion! I decided to do a backup of the body mist and grabbed the lotion, another shower gel, and scrub. Can I tell you the regret I feel that I didn’t get another scrub? I need to go back immediately. It’s all amazing! The lotion, the scrub, I’m in gourmand heaven at the moment!
I think the scrub is probably my favorite but the lotion is just as good. The scrub is a NICE grainy scrub that and it has a little slip to it! Nothing that’s dangerous in the shower but it is super moisturizing and nice and grainy to buff away dry skin! Not to mention it smells amazing and leaves my skin super smooth! The lotion is amazing as well! Super creamy, super moisturizing, and the scent lingers and lingers.
