January Beauty Empties What I’m Buying Again and Leaving Behind

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

January is over and so are some of my skincare and beauty items. Over as in empty! I have so many products sometimes it can be challenging them up but in my effort to minimalize my beauty life for the New Year I’m trying hard not to buy certain items that I’m already really stocked up like certain haircare, body scrubs, shower gels, etc…! It’s going to be a hard promise to keep with items like Tree Hut Jelly Bear Shea Sugar Scrub dropping but I’m doing my best over here.

What have you used up this month? Here are some of my January Beauty Empties and what I’m buying again and what I’m leaving and won’t be purchasing again!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again I run through Plum Plump Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer and Plum Plump Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum like water in the Winter. It’s my all time favorite combo that gives me juicy, plumped up skin. I would be destroyed if Glow Recipe discontinued this so of course, I’m buying again (actually, I already have a backup so I’m good!).

Of course, I run through conditioners way faster than I shampoo! Why is that? But anyway, I have two empties in the world of conditioner at the moment and one I’m not buying again! First off, we have my keeper that I will buy again and that’s Donna Recipe’s Sweet Potato Pie Extra Creamy Moisturizing Conditioner. LOVE love love love this collection of hair products! It smells like Thanksgiving dessert and it leaves my hair super silky smooth! Absolutely will buy again! On my no buy list is Hairitage Damage Recovery Deep Conditioner Treatment with Biotin. I thought this would be great for treating dryness and help with defrizzing but aside from smelling amazing it didn’t do much at all. I’m a huge Hairitage fangirl but this didn’t hit. I won’t buy again!

Erborian Yuza Sorbet Eye Radiance Eye Serum is like a cup of ice water for my eyes! This is a Vitamin C serum for the delicate area under your eyes but I’m just way into using this as prep before my eye cream. I apply it as soon as I get out of the shower, let it set, and I apply my eye cream on top and my concealer applies like a dream! Thankfully, I don’t need to restock as I already have a backup at the ready!

Those are my January empties! How about you? What have you used up recently?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse.
