    Sales like this always present a struggle for me. The extra points and free shipping are indeed awesome, but I suspect Ulta will be sending out a 20% off coupon to Diamond and Platinum members very soon (especially given that the Sephora appreciation event is coming up).
    What to do!? 🙂

      If you’re a diehard shopper and have a lot of Ulta Spend, 10x points is a far better deal than 20% off, esp because you can use the points you get now when you have the 20% off and get even more bang for your points!

        That’s so true, Hollie! Most of what I’m looking to buy would fall in the “5x the points” category, but even still, those points would most definitely come in handy during the 20% off sale!

        Yes, this was how I justified shifting half of my shopping list for the upcoming Sephora 20% off sale to Ulta today. This brought me well over 2,000 points so I now have like $125 of free Ulta money! Much better deal in the long run than 20% off.

    It actually is NOT on all purchases. I am Diamond and would get at least 5X, but there is a defined list that is eligible for 10X points.

    Just an FYI, the Maybelline Soda Pop palette is available at Ulta.com. That’s what I ordered today! Perfect timing as I did not want to spend $50 just to get free shipping for that palette so it was a nice surprise this morning when I got the email about free shipping on any order. Woohoo! Sometimes patience does pay off.
