If You’re Fully Vaccinated You Can Start Wearing Your Lipsticks and Lipglosses Again

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention eased its guidelines today and says fully vaccinated Americans don’t need to cover their faces anymore unless they are in a larger crowd of strangers. They even went so far as to say those who are unvaccinated can go outside without masks (there are some limits to this).
For anyone un-vaccinated it’s advisable to wear your mask if you’re in the company of other un-vaccinated people including outdoors and in restaurants. Fully vaccinated people do not need to cover up in those situations.
Everyone does need to wear a mask in crowded outdoor situations.
Yeah, so, it’s a little confusing because right now it seems like the advice is wear a mask for the most part but hey, you may just see a return to wearing lipsticks and lipglosses really soon.
Are you prepared for that?
I’m………..
Not!
I am not prepared for a mask-free life just yet. I’ve received the first vaccine and I’m near my second one very soon. And I can honestly say once I get vaccine number two it won’t make me feel anymore confident about being in large crowds of people or at large gatherings. It also, won’t make me feel any less comfortable talking to strangers or even being around my parents (my dad has a pacemaker).
I’m still a little anxious about COVID.
Normal life has returned for sure but not quite to what I’d like it to be. I miss eating out, I miss the experience of going to the movies, I miss socializing with my friends, I miss brunches with friends, I miss game nights with friends, I MISS FRIENDS period, I miss my family, I miss shopping without doing a mad dash and run out, I miss concerts….
Are you read to go without a mask and start wearing your favorite lipsticks and lipglosses?
On that note, I sort of like wearing a mask. It makes me feel like a super hero….!
