TJMaxx Has Pat Mcgrath x Bridgerton In Stock

Look out friend the eagle has landed at TJMaxx. Theheadlesscrow on Tiktok posted a recent video of Pat Mcgrath x Bridgerton at TJMaxx. Yup, Pat Mcgrath is at TJMaxx. The eyeshadow palettes are $25 and everything else including the gorgeous, stunning, brilliant blush palette is $20. I’m not surprised at all by this but I was surprised by how good a condition everything was at this girl’s TJMaxx! Because I swear my TJMaxx stores are gross. Everything is squeezed, swatched, opened, and sticky. Everything looked pristine at her location.

I haven’t personally been lucky finding any of these items at my local TJMaxx but that doesn’t mean they won’t be popping up. She literally just located them which means they could be headed to stores now. Again, I’m not terribly shocked by this as it seems like even luxury makeup goes to die at TJMaxx at some point. I do wonder if we’ll see a Pat Mcgrath x Bridgerton 3 though for Spring 2023. Is the contract over? Or will we get a new collection that will somehow make its way to TJMaxx at some point.

Some part of me feels a little sad that this is how luxury makeup has ended up but another part of me understands how excessive collections have been lately. People have lost interest in the endless round of releases and makeup releases aren’t quite as special as they used to be.

Are you excited to see if you can score some Pat Mcgrath at your local TJMaxx?

Oy, no. My locals are skeevy , too. I seldom touch and if I do, I use the thumb and forefinger lift. Not even with a consult from Pat. The post psyched me up anyway, hmmmm

I just went. Nothing Pat, nothing unravaged. Ya wanna crumbling Anastasia Subculture? No polartec pants, either….

I wasn’t super excited about the Bridgerton stuff, but TJ Maxx prices, I would definitely reconsider. Right now I’m just trying to spend all my savings on Pat’s brand site, because that sale is amazing!

My mother always said there were “nice” TJ Maxxes and “not so nice” ones, and I still think this is true. TJ Maxx would probably never cop to it, though. A new one opened near me recently where everything is beautifully organized and displayed. I love going there and will never go to the “not so nice” one in the other direction again.

Oh I agree with your mum so very much. I’ve been to some very nice stores and some really horrible ones. Give it time girl! I bet it turns into a not so nice location because people ruin everything!

Mum is right. I worked at an ‘excellent’ dollar tree…at least as good as it can be. Neat, organized, little misplaced crap, friendly, staff service to customer, etc. During the pandemic, people from in town (Boston) would come south to that store, whenever they needed a ride out of the house. They loved that store and complimented it highly. They still were going this fall. I felt the employees were a family that put the ‘fun’ in dysfunctional. The manager was promoted. Within a month, there were only 2 OG employees left. Disorganized, messy, unkempt, with a new, SURLY staff. If the employees buy in and GAS (give a shit) any store will be good-great. If not, add corporate pressure and poor leadership, and the store goes straight down the S C. This is true universally. Larger staffs seldom develop the connections/group feel/customer following. A Competitive environment also does not yield a good store. If people are trying to advance at the expense of others, you get a somewhat vigilant, unhappy staff. You are totally right about the good TJXs and undesirable ones. Your mum is right and the observation applies to all retail except HE/UHE.

KJH, it is so interesting you share that perspective, because my mom worked in retail as well. (In the 50s and the 80s, but I guess some things never change.) What is HE/UHE?

Meanwhile, I can’t find anything but the odd brand at my local TJ Maxx. I am so envious when I see someone posting their finds because we literally don’t carry any of that stuff. Our cosmetic outlet stores also don’t get the same goods everyone else gets. I attribute that to how densely populated we are in the Bay with how feel stores we actually have for everyone to shop.

I found the Bridgerton lipsticks at TJ Maxx for 14.99 and the highlighters for 19.99 today
