R.E.M. Beauty Sweetener Foundation Available Now
R.E.M. Beauty Sweetener Foundation arrives on August 24th in…can I get a drum roll? It arrives in 60 shades. 60! Sixty. I’m sitting here with my mouth hanging open. That’s crazy. I don’t think I’ve seen a foundation launch in this many shades since Fenty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation! What a time to be alive!
Forma Brands recently declared bankruptcy as you know and R.E.M. Beauty’s future was a little unstable but Ariana Grande paid $15 million to buy assets of the brand back in February. I was pretty certain that the brand would go down with other popular brands like Morphe but Ariana saved the day. How long it’ll be around remains to be seen as certain products are on sale at Ulta at the moment.
That being said the launch of the Sweetener Foundation is out now for Fall 2023 and let me just saying it again, it arrives in 60 shades! This new formula promises to include skin loving ingredients like niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and vitamin E. It’s a slightly weird launch in the fact that there’s already a Sweetener Concealer! You’d think the foundation and concealer would have launched at the same time. This is also the first foundation product for R.E.M.
