Victoria’s Secret Sugar Sky Is Like a Dusting Of Powdered Sugar
Victoria’s Secret Sugar Sky Body Mist and Lotion is a new, limited-edition Fall 2023 fragrance that launched a few weeks ago. I picked it up along with Warm Vanilla that I reviewed back in July. These two scents are from the Victoria’s Secret Pink Collection and I gotta say, they are really really killing it with the Pink Fragrance Mists lately. I like some of the Pink stuff even more than I do the standard VS Collection.
If you’re a vanilla or sugary fan you’re going to adore Sugar Sky!
The description on this one reads notes of cotton candy skies, whipped vanilla, and sweet musk. Of course, I instantly thought oh, it’ll smell like Bath and Body Works Cotton Candy Skies aka Boardwalk Marshmallow Clouds. But I’m slowly learning that Victoria’s Secret isn’t about that dupe life. This scent is definitely unique and different.
To me it smells like dusting powder sugar on my skin. It has a touch of soft vanilla but there’s a major spoonful of sugar as well. It’s not a cotton candy scent in my opinion. You aren’t going to go around smelling like Pink Sugar if you purchase this. It’s very heavy on the sugar note with the faintest touch of sweet musk and vanilla. It has warmth which gives it a cozy I’m wearing my favorite sweater vibe. It’s absolutely beautiful and a perfect sweet scent for gourmand lovers. This one lingers nicely as many VS scents tend to fade away rarely fast but I can smell this for a few hours after application. And it lingers quite beautifully on my skin and clothing.
Victoria’s Secret has really been doing great seasonal scents lately. I’d dare to say some of them are even better than what Bath and Body Works serves up. I’m looking forward to seeing what they do for the Holidays! They just launched a new “Cashmere Collection” which I’m definitely hauling! I also blind brought the new Tease Cocoa Soiree!
I very rarely feel tempted to purchase backups of anything lately but these seasonal scents have me in a bit of a chokehold and I feel like I need to purchase at least two bottles of each one because I end up loving them so much! Ugh!
Victoria’s Secret Sugar Sky is well worth a pick up! This is a beautiful, soft, sweet and sugary scent!
