This is The Mascara That Went Viral But You May Have Never Heard About It
About a month or so ago the new Maybelline Space Diamond Lash Sensational Sky High Lengthening Mascara went viral on Tiktok and it sold out instantly and was impossible to find ever after. Tiktokers were losing their mind over a mascara that had shimmering glitter in it and screaming and yelling at throwing up about how pretty it was and how it was never done before and it was so innovative.
Yeah, well, it’s really not a new thing at all. Ten plus years ago plenty of brands were doing this (especially Japanese ones) and hey, who remembers the Givenchy Diamantisimme Holiday Collection and the Lash Sparkles that launched with it? Givenchy needs to bring them back! THAT was innovation!
Anyway, I guess Maybelline Space Diamond Lash Sensational Sky High Lengthening Mascara was meant as a Holiday 2024 launch but the brand never really promoted it all that much. However, there were an endless round of Tiktoks about it! I will say it does look pretty cool and I’m happy to report it’s FINALLY back in stock at target.com! Apparently the formula is black in color and has silver sparkle mixed in for a sparkly lash look. It’ll make a nice little pick up if you have a New Year party you’re attending. But really? Do we ever need an excuse for sparkle? I know I don’t!
Lucky enough, it’s also affordable because I dunno when but drugstore mascaras now cost $16 and upwards. Like, what is this world we live in? $16 plus for drugstore mascara? Forget it! I’ll get my best budget mascara pick ever and call it a day thanks as it’s only $9! Oh and P.S. you can actually use this on your brows as well to add a bit of silver sparkly to the mix. Personally, I probably wouldn’t do that as I’ve suddenly gotten old enough to pluck stray little gray hairs out of my brows now so I don’t want to add anything gray-ish into the mix thanks so much! But hey, it’s a fun little extra way you can use this!
