I Brought the Big Bottle of Ariana Grande R.E.M Cherry Eclipse Eau de Parfum But You Don’t Have To

Yes, I’m weak for anything Ariana Grande Perfume and yes, I purchased the new Ariana Grande r.e.m. Cherry Eclipse Eau de Parfum. It’s a total blind buy but I only ever met one Ari fragrance I disliked (I didn’t even really dislike just felt like it wasn’t for me and the fact this has a cherry note sold me so I did go ahead and grab the big bottle. Judge me if you must. I was convinced Ariana Grande Cloud Pink Eau de Parfum was going to be something cherry but it wasn’t! I guess they were just waiting for this year to jump on the cherry bandwagon!

Don’t get too hyped because this isn’t a gourmand. It’s actually a fruity amber which means it might just be nice and warm after that initial sweet fruitiness. It has notes of Black Cherry and Jubilee Sugared Honeysuckle Petals at the top. The heart has jasmine absolute sambac with marshmallow meringue and it dries down to a glowing warm amber musk. Don’t quote me but I believe there was some sort of R.E.M fragrance set around the Holidays when Wicked x R.E.M dropped and I’m wondering if Cherry Eclipse was the fragrance that was previewed in that set. Although, at that point they were call it R.E.M 2.0. I never did buy it because I wasn’t interested in the fact it was a small travel spray along with a lipgloss I believe. But I’m left wondering if maybe it was a launch pad for Cherry Eclipse.

The promo images have me wild of course since it has a bunch of marshmallows and cherries in the marketing. That suckered me in even though I said I wouldn’t be blind buying fragrances in 2025. I think I’ll love it though so were safe. That being said the 3.4 oz bottle is a deep dive at $70 and if you’re simply not prepared to drop that sort of money right now or you’d rather just take baby sets you can always grab the $28 travel-spray and call it a day! The 1.7 oz $60 bottle is sold out currently. I don’t think we all need to jump on and get the big bottle. This seems like something you can just snag a travel-spray on to check out before waiting on a sale for the big guy! I was just being impatient and a magpie when it comes to a new perfume!

I didn’t need to buy the big bottle but I’m pretty sure I’m going to enjoy Ariana Grande R.E.M Cherry Eclipse. I’ll review it for you when it arrives. Will you be indulging in this one?

I got that set with REM 2.0 and really liked the fragrance. Is this actually the same scent? If so, then I already know I like it. I guess I’ll have to see if Ulta has the testers out for cherry eclipse so I can compare.

I dunno! I’m wondering about that myself. Does it have the same notes by chance?! I didn’t buy it as I didn’t want a small LE travel spray I might love plus didn’t really need the lipgloss it came with so skipped but now I’m curious if these scents are the same. If you find out post back let me know ;-D

Okay, finally tried Cherry Eclipse and I’m 90 % sure it’s the same as REM 2.0. At first, I thought they were different but a minute later I realized they smelled the same. The only way I’d be 100 % sure is if I still had my 2.0 rollerball and could compare side-by-side.
