E.L.F. Cosmetics Mint Melt Cooling Face Primer ($8) is a new gel facial primer with a cool, fresh feel that preps skin for makeup. According to the brand this contains hyaluronic acid and antioxidants to plump and smooth skin.

First thing I did when I got it I ran to compare the ingredients to my E.L.F. Jelly Pop Dew Primer but turns out they aren’t really the same. For example, this contains Niacinamide which the Jelly Pop formula did not. But if I had to be real with myself as MUCH as I enjoyed using this formula I do think the Jelly Pop has the better formula only because Mint Melt Cooling Face Primer contains some stuff in that you might not want to put on your face like Peppermint and Rosemary. If you can get past that you might love this! I know I did!

Bath & Body Works Chocolate Covered Cherry and Coconut Cream Pie arrived today along with the return of Strawberry Pound Cake! And drum roll please…..! Raspberry Jam Donut is also part of this launch! Who squealed? I know I did! I do so love when Bath & Body Works brings out the gourmands to play!

I’m not yet seeing Coconut Cream Pie and Chocolate Covered in a fragrance mist but hopefully those will trickle in shortly! I’m probably most excited about Chocolate Covered Cherry to be honest but Raspberry Jam Donut is definitely one I want to try especially since it has so much hype on Instagram!

E.L.F. Holy Hydration! Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm ($10) is a new solid balm cleanser infused with ceramides, peptides, and Hyaluronic Acid that gently removes makeup without stripping and leaves skin feeling hydrated and plumped! I’m always a little skeptical of cleansers that are packed with really great ingredients. I mean, you’re washing it off so what’s the point of having a cleanser loaded up with all these great things that are simply washed down the drain?

None the less I decided to give Holy Hydration! Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm a go because I have drier skin and this sounded great for such a skin type!

Beauty confession! I hate buying inexpensive eye makeup remover! Lancome Bi-Facil Double-Action Gentle Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover is amazing and it’s totally worth the price but I CRINGE at the idea of buying it. I have to replace eye makeup remover so often it feels so wasteful spending more than $6 to $8 on a bottle. Spending $30+? NO THANKS!
