Milani Peach Make It Last Setting Spray Review

Milani Peach Make It Last Setting Spray is a new peach scented makeup setting spray that’s available with a new Fruit Fetish Spring 2021 Collection that recently became available at Walgreens. As you know Milani Fruit Fresh Make It Last Setting Spray originally launched with the Summer 2020 Collection in three fragrances. I was actually a little disappointed with the fragrance from the last launch as it was a bit weak but I read peach scented and I needed it. There’s also a Milani Cherry Make It Last Setting Spray but the Peach called me!

I don’t really use setting spray often but it is a necessary evil when using powders or highlighters as it gives them a smoother, refined finish. Some sprays are better than others in their ability to lock in makeup and allow it to remain wearing longer. Sadly, many contain alcohol denat (second ingredient in this formula) which acts to mattify skin. This formula does include alcohol and of course, fragrance so if either of those ingredients aren’t your thing do stay away from this formula!

Milani Make It Last Setting Spray Prime + Correct + Set isn’t a new product and this Milani Peach Make It Last Setting Spray is basically the same formula but just with a new peachy scent. Most of the ingredients are the same aside peach leaf extract and fragrance. One thing I noticed was when the original Fruit Fetish Collection launched the setting sprays were 2.03 oz in size and $7.99 same as the original formula however, Milani Peach Make It Last Setting Spray is $9.99. This could vary from retailer to retailer but right now it appears this is exclusive to Walgreens so that might be the set price if you can’t purchase it anywhere else.

This is a fine mist that sets within minutes of application and does feel slightly tightening once sets. That would be the alcohol likely! It isn’t an unpleasant feeling but you can feel that bit of tightness. It does refine highlighter or if you’re wearing powder it will give it a smoother appearance! That’s the best thing about setting spray! It always smooths out powders so they look more natural. This does extend my makeup a little bit as it builds a layer around makeup that will keep it from fading.

As I mentioned the scent on the last around of Fruit Fetish Setting Sprays was disappointing but I got a nice peachy scent from this one. It’s actually a very natural peach scent. Not too sweet, not overpowering, it smells just like a real peach! The smell disappears quickly but it is present during the initial misting. If you like peaches you’ll love this!

Milani Peach Make It Last Setting Spray is quite a nice pick up if you enjoyed scented setting sprays! This didn’t disappoint with the peachy scent!
