Peter Thomas Roth Skin to Die For Darkness-Reducing Under-Eye Treatment Primer ($32) is a new under eye primer that acts to not only prep for concealer but also, promises to reduce darkness, puffiness, and the signs of aging.

With a name like “skin to die for” I felt compelled to purchase this. Like most spontaneous purchases I make I did no prior research on this product and only later after getting it did I sit down to do some homework on the product before writing my review. I literally purchased it the same day it became available at Sephora so I’ve been using it for several long weeks now. I won’t be repurchasing it again nor will I be recommending it to purchase because essentially it’s a silicone primer. Nothing more, nothing less. That in fact makes it an expensive splurge in my humble opinion.

Fenty Beauty Poutsicle Juicy Satin Lipstick in Blazing Orange Is Perfect for Fall and Only $14

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
4 stars out of 5

Fenty Beauty Poutsicle Juicy Satin Lipstick went on sale late this Summer for $14 each. I actually purchased two when they launched at $20 each so, yeah, I’m kicking myself over it. Isn’t it amazing how quickly makeup goes on sale lately? I remember a time makeup was NEVER on sale. Seriously, sales were really rare! The Cosmetics Company Store was the most amazing place in the world back in the day because it was like one of the few places you could get really great deals on makeup and fragrance.

Nowadays, makeup comes out full-price and within weeks of the launch it’s offered at amazing discounts. I don’t really have the novelty of waiting long enough for something to go on sale though because with this blog I’m expected to review and swatch stuff way BEFORE the sale actually happens. Also, I’m an instant gratification kind of girl with a sometimes bad case of FOMO that I try not to give into!

Anyway, Fenty Beauty Poutsicle Juicy Satin Lipstick got pushed back in my review pile but I recently hauled on Blazing Orange and at the time it was an ideal shade for Summer but you know what? It works just as wonderfully for Fall looks too!

Viseart Dark EDIT Eyeshadow Palette Is Only $39 and Perfect for Purple Lovers

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Viseart Dark EDIT Eyeshadow Palette launches today at Sephora.com (it got an earlier launch at Beautylish recently) and it’s probably one of my favorite palettes of the season because Viseart didn’t forget it’s Fall! Where as everyone else is busy launching Holiday Collections, Viseart is all, “Hey guyz! Look we got you a nice Fall palette with witchy shades to create those sultry Fall eye looks you want!”

Let’s be honest for a second here. Pretty much everyone forgot about Fall this year. Too Faced, Tarte, they are all jumped really hard into Holiday. Ok, so yeah, we got a smallish Tarte Fall 2019 Collection but it feels like a blip on the radar of the mass amount of Holiday Collections available!

And here we are with Viseart Dark EDIT Eyeshadow Palette all sultry and delicious. I probably can’t wear these shades because I tend to look like someone punched me in the eye when I’m doing a smokier purple eye look but man, it sure is pretty.

You get 12 eyeshadows with matte, shimmer, and metallic finishes!

Shades include: Toffee (taupe with a matte finish), Sienna (muted burgundy with a matte finish), Sepia (caramelized brick with a matte finish), Persimmon (persimmon with a matte finish), Olive (olive green with a matte finish), Beaujolais (muted plum with a matte finish), Lavender (electric violet with a matte finish), Fôret (navy peacock with a matte finish), Absinthe (emerald with a shimmer finish), Calypso (iced orchid with a metallic finish), Burnished Copper (terracotta with a metallic finish), and Bullion (gold lacquer with a metallic finish)

Viseart Dark EDIT Eyeshadow Palette is available now.

Madonna Loves Too Faced I Rise and Medellin Kits Are Now Available

As you know the Madonna Loves Too Faced I Rise and Medellin Kits were recently available at Madonna’s pop-up shop in Manhattan and also, they reported as being available at her tour venues but of course, as I predicted they have now launched online at toofaced.com! I just didn’t expect them to be available THIS SOON.

Each set is a whooping $75 each which I find grossly overpriced for Too Faced especially since they contain Melted Matte Lipsticks that have been on sale numerous times for $10! Come on. I also don’t really feel the collection is unique or special enough. It’s Madonna FFS doesn’t that mean it has to be divine-like before it launches?

Here’s the low down on each set!

Sunday Riley ICE Ceramide Moisturizing Cream Sounds Interesting Past Indiscretions And All!

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Sunday Riley ICE Ceramide Moisturizing Cream piqued my interest today. Have we moved past their indiscretions though? I guess I can give them one more good fighting chance!

This is a new moisturizer helps to strengthens the natural moisture barrier of your skin. Some of the top ingredients are Squalane and Glycerin as well as Lanolin. It also contains a host of ceramides but they are lower on the list. I’m still curious enough to try it because it seemed to be packed with some good ingredients!

It actually acts not only to moisturizer your skin but also to pull moisture into your skin which in turn plumps and smooths the surface of your skin. As we get nearer to Winter and the cold weather sets in my skin will likely start needing something like this. Honestly, I have dozens of moisturizers that work great for me already but as a skincare junkie I’m still ultra curious about this formula!

Sunday Riley ICE Ceramide Moisturizing Cream is $65 and available now.

Do you think you’ll try it?
