Michel Germain Sugarful Perfume is something I’d totally wear in 1990. I was doing meal prep a few days ago and I admit was swiping through Tiktok as I cut veggies and there was a girl on there doing Tiktoks of old YM magazine issues. Oh my god! That brought back so many feel good memories. As she flipped through she came across the beauty section which I used to pour over and there were so many damn things on that page I was either lemming hard at the time or owned. I never thought there would come a time in my life when I was like, “I remember the old days when…” but it quickly turned into one of those moments as I quickly dialed my bestie and told him, “OH MY GOD REMEMBER THIS PRODUCT!?” I was suddenly my father with the “I remember when I had to walk to school in the dead of winter with 18 feet of snow on the floor and no shoes!” My life was a lot easier because I was just reminiscing about some beauty product from the 90’s not a shoe-less day in the snow.

Anyway, when I got my bottle of Michel Germain Sugarful Perfume it really brought YM, high school, etc…! It’s an ooey gooey sweet fragrance that feels like something my younger self would positively go gaga over.

Wakey, wakey! The weekend looms and the Fall and Holiday 2020 Collections are bashing heads in the hopes they’ll come out the winner for your money! Are you shopping Fall, Holiday, or both right now? I hate when Holiday Collections launch in September. I just wanna enjoy Fall and not worry about the Holidays just yet. But like it or not the Holiday Collections are rolling in! Good Morning! Well, technically it might be afternoon by the time this goes live later today! Right now it’s 5AM and I’m sitting here in my basic bitch attire. I got my little gray leggings on, a cute off the shoulder pink sweater with a bottom lace border, and a sweet pair of baby pink uggs. By the time this goes live the chilly 51 degree temperature will give way to 80 degree and I’ll regret all this outfit like nobody’s business but right now I feel kind of cute. Feeling cute might delete this out later and replace it with a cooler shirt and footwear. Ha…! Gotta love Fall in New York! Tis the season for chilly mornings and hot as hell afternoons.

I hope your week has been stress and anxiety-free. I hope it was as productive as mine. We’re working ourselves to death over here but being busy is a good thing and a blessing!

Farmacy Honey Halo Ultra-Hydrating Ceramide Moisturizer had me all like, “Honey! Bees! Noooo!” I legit got bit by two different bees yesterday! Seriously, WTH! Here’s how it went down!

I was in the garden yesterday after work putting out Fall decor. I was placing these cute pumpkins in parts of my garden. The pumpkins have a little stake so if it gets windy they don’t up and roll away. I was casually placing them around the mum beds and they look adorable however, much to my horror and surprise I hit a beehive in the ground. WHAT? Wait, a minute bees make hives in the ground!? News to me! Anyway, suddenly a swirl of bees just totally came up and out of the ground. I was like ok, don’t panic, you got this. I was thinking to myself just leave them alone, walk away, come back later. So, I swiftly got off my knees and walked walked away. Thankfully, they didn’t suddenly all swirl around me like a bad Looney Tunes episode. They were however, still pissed off at me in a major way. I legit have never seen this many bees in my life. There were like fifty of them just swirling and buzzing around the small hole I had tried to stick the pumpkin stake into. As I walked away two or three did follow me and yes, they proceed to bite me on my leg and thigh. Ow! As I headed into the house I couldn’t help but be thankful I wasn’t allergic to them! Imagine that happening to someone who was allergic to bees? Scary!

Now I have to call around today to see how I can remove the nest in a humane a way as possible as I don’t think it’s safe to leave it in the ground like that as I fear when I turn the dirt next year I could kill the hive. I don’t even know much about bees so I’m not sure if when winter comes they’ll just die or do they hibernate in there? I’m doing research right now as I type this. I definitely don’t want to kill them and there’s a local pest agency here that does removal and relocation but I’m not finding many reviews on their services (I don’t want to hire someone that promises to remove and relocate and in reality they just toss the hive on the side of the road! I seriously, had that happen to my neighbor once! They hired someone to relocate squirrels because they were tearing up their roof and the guy ended up killing the squirrels!!!!!!!!!) Anyone every experience anything like this? Would love to hear about your removal process!
