Armani Power Fabric Stretchable Concealer Must Be Mine!

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Giorgio Armani Power Fabric Stretchable Concealer ($34) has launched and I must have it. 10 plus years ago Armani Face Fabric Foundation was probably one of the first real matte foundations I owned. I have dry skin so matte is pretty a big no for me but Face Fabric was so dreamy, creamy, velvety, and smooth. It was one of my favorite foundations for a really long time!

Needless to say I’d love to see if Power Fabric Stretchable Concealer is just as good. This is a pigmented liquid concealer that has a matte velvet finish just like the foundation. The formula has a “stretchable formula” that gives it a second-skin feel and finish that moves with you and which prevents it from creasing under your eyes. I’m a little concerned it won’t be ideal for my drier eyes being a matte finish but you can’t never tell since Tarte Shape Tape works amazing well for me.

Armani released it in a rather huge array of shades as well! 19 of them to be exact.

I’m going to try and get to my local counter shortly and have a look at this because I think Armani Power Fabric Stretchable Concealer might be coming home with me tonight!

Natasha Denona Bloom Blush & Glow Palette Has a Promo Image I’m Wondering If I Can Recreate

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Glistening, dewy, peachy luminous skin? Sign me up for Natasha Denona Bloom Blush & Glow Palette that’s launching for Spring 2019 as that looks like what she’s serving up in promo images. But how does one create this luscious look with the shades included in the Bloom Blush & Glow Palette is the question on my lips!

The star of the palette is Fuchsia which is a bright cherry red cream blush with a bronze sheen! It’s a stunner but I’m not sure I can pull it off. However, perhaps paired up with the Golden Coral Duo Glow and Glow Cream Base in Peach I might just be able to achieve the look they did in the promo images! Possible?!

Shades:

  • Glow Cream Base in Peach (natural peach)
  • Cream Blush in Fuchsia (deep cherry red with a subtle bronze shine)
  • Glow Extreme in Light Rose (nude champagne)
  • Duo Glow in Vibrant, Golden Coral (vibrant coral with golden champagne)

This beauty launches tomorrow (2/12) at Sephora!

Will be you indulging?

Wet n Wild It’s My Cheat Day Refreshing Hair Mist for Sweet Smelling Hair After a Sweaty Workout

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
3 stars out of 5

Wet n Wild It’s My Cheat Day Refreshing Hair Mist ($8.99) is a new hair refresher mist that can be used anytime, anywhere to instantly freshen up hair with a light, subtle fragrance. This launched with Wet n Wild’s new Pump Collection for Spring 2019 which, insert rolling eyes here, is a new Athleisure Makeup and Beauty Collection. We’ve already discussed that I’m not really a big fan of these gym to street collections. Maybelline teamed up with Puma to create one but prior to that Tarte had one as well as E.L.F. not to mention any other number of brands.

I sort of get the idea they are trying to sell here. You’re working out, maybe you see a hot guy, you want to look good. Or maybe they are selling the fact that your makeup will be long-wearing and can take you from a sweaty workout right into an evening out without the need for touch ups. Who knows?! I like the idea of long-wearing makeup that could be waterproof or even sweatproof. Something I can wear on a Summer day without it melting away. However, I’m really not into the idea of wearing makeup at the gym! Mind you, I have my own home gym which means this really defeats the purpose completely for me. That being said I don’t knock anyone who wants to look good at the gym! I just don’t always get the idea of wanting to wear a bunch of makeup while you’re sweating to the oldies you know?

How Are You Feeling About the New Urban Decay Naked Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette?

Urban Decay Naked Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette ($44) arrives in six days and I’m counting the days until I can get my hands on it because I’m all kinds of curious about this one. We said a fond goodbye to Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Palette late August of last year and I suppose in some ways it was time. It’s a beloved, cult favorite but I imagine Urban Decay felt like everyone owned it and they were ready to replace it with something new and exciting. It’s new but I’m not sure the Naked Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette is exciting! Some folks might be excited about this launch but others who were craving more of a Naked Eyeshadow palette might be disappointed.

This palette contains all-new neutral shades that were designed to fit a range of skin tones but they aren’t all as warm as those in the original palette. In a highly interesting move Urban Decay decided to make the four outter shades in the palette bigger because they felt you’d use them the most. So, the two on either ends are larger. Blur and Bribe are 0.049 oz each and Barely Baked and Retro are 0.045 oz each where as the other eight shades are 0.038 each. I do think sometimes we all forget that the original Naked Eyeshadow Palette had a smidge more eyeshadow which each being 0.05 oz plus it used to come with a double-sided eyeliner (which was changed to a brush later on). Nowadays, the price remains the same but you’re getting a less for your cash!

Which brings me to a touchy topic….! Quality. I was disappointed in the Naked Cherry Eyeshadow Palette and I have high hopes that Naked Reloaded isn’t on par with that formula. They promise a “mind-blowing formula with a velvety texture and extreme blendability” but if we’re honest with ourselves Urban Decay hasn’t really had a “mind-blowing formula” in a while now!
