Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips 2 Mini Lip Set Review & Swatches

4 stars out of 5

Charlotte Tilbury Mini Hot Lips Charms Set ($25) is a new, limited edition Holiday 2019 Gift Set featuring three teeny, tiny shades of Hot Lips 2 Lipstick. Hot Lips 2 Lipstick launched early this past Summer and if you haven’t already tried them you might want to check them out in the Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips 2 Mini Lip Set.

There a massive warning that comes along with buying this set though! These are tiny! Really tiny! They remind me of Avon Lipstick samples! Ok, so maybe not that small but pretty darn small. For reference, the recent Creamy Color 4-Piece Mini Amuse Bouche Supercharged Lipstick Set from Bite Beauty holds four shades that are 0.05 oz each and that set is $21 where as each of the Hot Lips 2 in this set are 0.04 oz each. You’re not only getting more shades but also, more product for less than the Charlotte Tilbury Set! However, you are paying for a luxury brand so that’s something to take into consideration if you are indulging in this set. Another point of reference for comparison would be the Pat Mcgrath Mini MatteTrance Lipstick Trio Set that’s also $25 in price and holds three shades which are a little tiny bit bigger at 0.042 oz.

If you break it down the value is actually here it’s just the actual product lacks packaging. Let me explain! A regular size Hot Lips 2 Lipstick is $37 and 0.12 oz. You’re literally getting a full-size lipstick in this set for $25. The problem is the lipsticks are physically really tiny. Some minis have a bit more packing to them but these are just really teeny tiny. If you don’t mind that, this might be a great way to try the Hot Lips 2 formula before indulging in a full-size!

Florence by Mills Cheek Me Later Cream Blush Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
4 stars out of 5

Florence by Mills Cheek Me Later Cream Blush ($14) is a new creamy blush is part of Millie Bobby Brown’s new vegan makeup collection that launched late this Summer. As you already know every celeb and their mom, sister’s mom, and mom’s mom has a makeup collection. From Lady Gaga to up and coming actresses like Millie Bobby Brown, everyone wants a piece of the beauty industry. I do think that celebrities can literally make or break their own makeup launches. If a celebrity evokes feelings of dislike you might not feel so inclined to purchase something from their line. Let’s be honest, for some reason or another some celebrities just make us rage. I know some people that rant a blue streak about Kylie’s line! I tend to try to look past the person behind the line sometimes as I’m in no way a fan of Kylie but I have purchased her Bronze and her Burgundy Eyeshadow Palette and liked them both.

Millie might have struck when the iron is hot because I don’t think she has a lot of controversy surrounding her as of yet! She comes across as very lovable and humble which her fans appreciate. I think she’s quite lovely. According to her she was very involved in the production of the products. However, she recently had a bit of drama when she pulled a little bit of a Shay Mitchell on Instagram when using her products. That video called into question how involved she actually is.

That being said, I think the products need to speak for themselves. I like her! I think she’s a good actress, I think she’s cute, and even if her line isn’t exactly my demographic I had no problem supporting her in this venture by purchasing some of her line. Not to mention, I was just plain curious.

The fact her line is “clean” should be appealing to those who are seeking a new cruelty-free makeup collection that’s not only vegan but also, is free of fragrance, parabens, and other harmful ingredients.

Let’s take a look at my review of the Florence by Mills Cheek Me Later Cream Blush.

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Any shade of Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick, full-size, is $13 at the moment on sephora.com! Obviously this means you can score a killer deal but most importantly it means they are brewing up something new and exciting that will either launch soon or will be available for Spring 2020. One wonder if that something new is the Amuse Bouche Supercharged Lipstick?

Bite Beauty Creamy Color 4-Piece Mini Amuse Bouche Supercharged Lipstick Set is a Holiday 2019 Gift Set that’s $21 and includes four shades of Bite Beautys Amuse Bouche Supercharged Lipstick. So the question would be is this a new formula or just a limited edition run?

According to the brand the Supercharged formula is inspired by holiday treats and contains Raw Cacoa Extract and gives these lipsticks that delicious pink chocolate shade aka pinky brown shade.

Shades: Good Jujube (pink nude) Ruby BonBon (rosy pink), Cherry Truffle (spiced red), Cocoa Bite (warm nude)

I sure hope these are released in a full-size as some of these shades look stunning!

The Bite Beauty Creamy Color 4-Piece Mini Amuse Bouche Supercharged Lipstick Set is available for a limited time for the Holiday season at Sephora.

I picked it up! Are you hauling?

Huda Beauty Nude Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette You Can’t Just Eat One

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Huda Beauty Nude Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette are just like potato chips you can’t just eat one or in this case you can’t just own one. I’ve been here for the Neons, I’ve been here for the Jewels, and I’ve been here for the Original Huda Beauty Obsessions Eyeshadow Palettes and I’ll be here for the Nude Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette when they drop October 9th.

Huda’s formula is weird! I have the strangest obsession with it hence the name right? Her shadows are pretty firm and dense but they actually blend out really well on my eyes. I always express my disappointment with the formula but I still oddly find myself using the Obsession Palettes quite often! These new Nude Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette have my name ALL over them!

She’s launching them in three gorgeous shades that travel the color spectrum from lighter neutrals to gorgeous wines. These actually remind me a little of the new Etude House Look at My Eyes Maple Road singles and Maple Road Eyeshadow Palette!

I’m not terribly keen on the Light Palette since the shades look a lot like the ones I have in Huda’s New Nude Eyeshadow Palette but Medium and Rich are calling my name!

The Light palette contains warm and cooler peachy shades with pops of lavender and mauve where as the Medium is mix of spicy chestnuts and deep browns! But by far my favorite is the Rich Palette which is a mix dark chocolate browns, crimson red, dusty rose and sandy fawn with pink undertones.

Each eyeshadow palette contains nine shades each and will set you back $29. I’m looking forward to purchasing this and trying them out!
