Summer is coming! As far as I’m concerned Memorial Day is sort of the start of Summer even though June 21st is the official first day of Summer. Doesn’t everyone feel like once the first of June arrives that is in fact the start of Summer? Shrug! That’s how I feel 🙂

    It Cosmetics It’s Your Summer Essentials Collection is Ideal for Newbies to the Brand

    This was provided to me by a brand for review and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post but all opinions are my own.

    The QVC Today’s Special Value for It Cosmetics is live if you didn’t catch it already! It Cosmetics It’s Your Summer Essentials Collection is a four piece set that features three full-size products as well as a full-size brush all for $49.98 plus free shipping!

    I tend to find these QVC Special Value Sets are always a great pick for beginners to It Cosmetics as by now most It Girls and Guys likely have a ton of these items already in their stash and are using them daily. This is a nice intro set or it might prove a good replenishment set if you’re a big fan of It Cosmetics’ CC Cream.

    The set includes one of It Cosmetics newer offerings which is their Your Skin But Better Full Coverage Cream SPF 50 in the oil-free and matte finish formula. I’m not a matte girl but I’ve been using this formula since it launched and I actually like it better than the original formula. To me it’s more of a demi-matte finish that provides a silky, satiny matte finish that’s lightweight, buildable, and very natural looking. It’s definitely one to try if you love the original formula but require a little shine control now that Summer is on the way! You get a full-size version in this set in your choice of shades.

    The set also includes Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara which I have a love hate relationship with ha…! I feel like they improved upon this formula as the first time I tried it was a gooey mess but since trying it when it launched in 2016 I have actually repurchased it quite a few times. It’s a thick formula but the gooey factor isn’t there anymore thankfully. It’s a very wet mascara though but I really like what it does to my lashes.

    The set also includes a full-size Je Ne Sais Quoi Hydrating Lip Treatment in Rose and a Heavenly Skin Skin-Hugging Foundation Brush. The brush will likely be a draw for people since It Brushes are super soft. This slanted brush is no different! The bristles are very soft and shed-free plus the handle is very sturdy. I’m not sure what I’m going to use this guy for yet though as the soft bristles make it a little floppier! Maybe highlighter?! It’s not dense enough for contouring! Or perhaps to apply my CC Cream!

    Anyway, as I said above the It Cosmetics It’s Your Summer Essentials Collection is ideal to newbies to the brand as it gets you a nice assortment of products at a fantastic price or if you’re an It fan already you can replenish some favorites maybe!
