Charlotte Tilbury Dreamgasm Luxury Palette for Summer 2019

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

New day, new eyeshadow palette from Charlotte Tilbury! Today, the Charlotte Tulbury Dreamgasm Eyeshadow Palette launched on her site to go along with the gorgeous Lovegasm Palettes that launched last week!

The palette was created to pair up with other pieces from her newest collection and features shades from her Exagger-eyes, Pillow Talk and Dolce Vita Luxury Palettes. It’s a rose gold palette theme of champagne, copper bronze, and rose gold. The shades create a “halo” soft focused effect on eyes for an ethereal glow.

Charlotte Tilbury Dreamgasm Luxury Palette for Summer 2019 is limited edition available exclusively on Charlotte’s site and $53. I ordered the Lovegasm Palettes from her site recently as well as the Beauty Light Wands and haven’t used them thankfully as I’m totally returning them since they launched at sephora.com today and managed to score them with 20% off! I wish this palette was also coming to Sephora boooooo! Oh well! I admit I need it to add to my stash!

Sephora Beauty Insider Spring 2019 Bonus Event

I was compensated by a brand or company but all thoughts and opinions are my own and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

If you’re somehow not yet a Beauty Insider you can still sign up to be one at sephora.com! Beauty Insiders not only get to take part in the Sephora Beauty Insider Spring Bonus Event but many other events throughout the year as well as gain points and rewards redeemable towards merchandise available Tuesdays and Thursdays during Sephora’s Rewards Bazaar as well as in store at checkout for a variety of sample and sample sets as well as free makeup overs, a special Birthday gift, and more. If you reach Rouge status you’ll also be get free standard shipping, early access to newly launched beauty, a chance to redeem points for a $100 Reward, and more.

I have to admit the chance to enjoy 20% off all of my favorite brands makes my Rouge Membership totally worth it. Sephora typically has this event during the Holidays and again, in the Spring and I’m always prepared with a wish list at the ready for items I want!

I was actually pretty well organized this year and made a list and everything of staples I wanted to pick up like Shiseido Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Intensive Eye Contour Cream! I try so MANY different eye creams but I always come back to Shiseido formula because I find it so moisturizing. I wouldn’t say it’s done anything for my finer lines but it does a heck of a lot for my dry eyes! Anyone use it?

Shiseido Benefiance Wrinkle Repair Kit for Eyes

I also repurchased a few Drunk Elephant essentials. I swear Drunk Elephant Skincare has been such a weird trip for me. I was convinced it wasn’t working at all but the more I used it the more I noticed the different in my skin not to mention on the days I wasn’t using it how my skin would look so much better when I was. I repurchased Drunk Elephant C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum and T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial 25% AHA + 2% BHA Mask. I also added some new items into my cart to check out like the A-Passioni Retinol Cream we discussed a few weeks ago. There’s so much hype around this product I thought I had to try it for myself! I’m actually also in the process of testing out Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser which might be a great pick up with your discount! I’ll share my thoughts on it soon! Oh by the way, I also picked up the Drunk Elephant Baby Pekee Bar + Juju Bar Travel Duo! Does anyone use these? I always like solid cleansing bars (I’m a big fan of April’s Skin Magic Stone Black)! But really, my most important purchase was C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum! Did you know did you know Vitamin C really beefs up your sunscreen!? When Drunk Elephant recommended using Vitamin C in the day on their instructions I was a little skeptical as it was always a treatment I used in the evening. Turns out the combination of Vitamin C and sunscreen actually it slows the rate of free radical damage!

Other skincare purchases I made….!

I think I’m good for a while haha…! I’m really curious about the Inkey List! It’s already affordably priced but with the extra 20% off it’s even better!

I did want to try some new skincare out so, looks like I did pretty well with all the above. Speaking of new, Fresh has a new Rose Deep Hydration Moisturizer I’m loving at the moment. They sent me a sample of the smaller $15 0.5 oz jar and I loved it so much I grabbed the larger size during the sale. It has a gel-like texture that absorbs super fast and not only hydrates but it also retains moisture really well which makes my face really smooth and well hydrated throughout the day but not greasy or oily. I think this might turn into my Summer moisturizer!

And yes, I did get some makeup as well! It all wasn’t skincare but that’s for another post 🙂

Wanna share what you got during the Sephora sale?

The Inkey List Is Small But It’s Proving Mighty So Far

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

About six months ago the Inkey List launched in the UK much to the delight of those skincare junkies who like a good budget pick that cuts through all the BS. This is a very accessible skincare collection that showcases a star ingredient in a concentrated form much like the Ordinary and it’s now available at sephora.com.

Speaking of the Ordinary, they do have a growing list of competitors lately don’t they? Makeup Revolution’s Revolution Skincare, Beautylish’s Good Molecules, and now, the Inkey List. I think do think each of these brands has their own strong and weak points. The Ordinary is a pioneer in the simple yet effective and affordable skincare world. It’s given birth to an entirely new species of skincare where formulas are simply, to the point, and get things done versus $100+ formulas that are full of fragrance, fillers, and empty promises.

The main difference between the Inkey List and the Ordinary would be price point. The Inkey List’s price point is $14.99 and under with most items set at the higher $14.99 price tag where as the Ordinary’s prices are on the lower spectrum at around $5-$10. Both share 1 oz sizes however, The Ordinary’s line contains more serums where as the Inkey List has formula are more cream-based in my experience thus far.

I did purchase some of the Inkey List’s offerings at Sephora.com recently with my 20% off discount. Most people were eager about what I thought…

CoverFX Monochromatic Matte + Shimmer Blush Duo Available Now

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

I’m very happy to report that the new CoverFX Monochromatic Matte + Shimmer Blush Duo Collection launched at sephora.com! This is great as we can take 20% Off (or 15%/10% for VIB/BI)! I wanted a few of these and wasn’t sure if I was going to have to grab them from Ulta as that’s where they launched first but they are now available at Sephora as well!

Each shade contains a matte powder blush paired up with a shimmer shade that produces a monochromatic, multidimensional effect that reflects light giving skin a radiant finish. You can use the shades individually or layered over each other to create a dramatic effect.

Shades:

  • Soft Peach (peachy nude)
  • Pink Dahlia (soft pink)
  • Mojave Mauve (dusty rose)
  • Warm Honey (bronzed rose)
  • Spiced Cinnamon (terracotta flush)
  • Sweet Mulberry (rich berry)

CoverFX Monochromatic Matte + Shimmer Blush Duos are $38 each.

Anyone picking up a shade or two?
