Mally Beauty and Frozen An Odd Marriage!

Mally Beauty and Frozen as in Disney Frozen as in Let It Go, Let It Go is a thing! A makeup thing to be exact! Today, Mally broke the new she has teamed up with Disney to put together a Mally x Frozen limited edition collection that’s “coming soon”. It’s available now at QVC.com!

I honestly sat here with my mouth slightly open when I read this.

Wait, what?

I love Mally. I love Mally Beauty. But it is expected to see her doing a Disney Collection. REALLY? Wait, what just happened? I never expected such an interesting release from Mally Beauty. It seems like an odd marriage but that isn’t to say I’m not looking forward to what this collection will look like. Because I am, I REALLY am!

Mally isn’t alone this year as many other brands embrace Disney such as Besame who recently launched a Snow White Collection. Obviously Disney is play fast and furious with their trademark characters because most everyone has some sort of Disney branded release. Harvey’s Seatbelt Bags, LoungeFly, plenty of Box Lunch goodies, Torrid, everywhere you look some brand or department store is launching a Disney inspired selection of totes, makeup bags, t-shirts, and other accessories. Of course, the makeup world is no stranger to Disney though since Sephora, E.L.F., and many others have jumped on the bandwagon years ago.

But obviously, Disney is set for a come back this year and likely into 2018.

What do you expect to see from the Mally Beauty Frozen Collection?

See Mally’s tiny tease below!

Too Faced Peach Mist Mattifying Setting Spray Review

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

Too Faced Peach Mist Mattifying Setting Spray ($32) is an oil-controlling makeup setting mist which creates a matte finish on skin while reducing shine throughout the day. You may be asking yourself why I bothered picking this up since I have drier skin.

Well, my forehead can so bright in the Summer some of you might see the future in it. We didn’t have a really warm Summer here in New York tough! However, the past three weeks have been quite warm and quite humid. I also came back from after being New Orleans for over a week recently which means I’ve had plenty of time to put this spray through its paces.

Here’s some thoughts!

It Cosmetics Miracle Water 3-in-1 Glow Tonic Review

This was provided to me by a brand for review and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post but all opinions are my own.

It Cosmetics Miracle Water 3-in-1 Glow Tonic ($38) is a new all-in-one cleanser and toner that launched with the It Cosmetics Fall 2017 Collection.

I have to admit this is a confusing product that can’t quite make up its minds about what it is. It Cosmetics dubs it a tonic that brightens, hydrates, and purifies while apparently maxmizing the efficacy of your moisturizers and serums. They probably should have stopped right there. That was perfect. But the went one step further and said, “Well, guess what? This is also a micellar water!” That’s when things got a little confusing.

Here’s my review and thoughts.

Real Techniques Blend + Blur Brush Review

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

I purchased the new Real Techniques Blend + Blur Foundation Brush, Blend + Blur All Over Brush, Blend + Blur Contour Brush, Blend + Blur Crease Brush, and Blend + Blur Cheek Brush recently during an early launch for Ulta Platinum Members and I don’t regret the purchase in the least! But I’ll tell you about them more in a second….

As you can easily see these are a lot like the much more expensive Artis Makeup Brushes which range is prices from $60 and upward. Over the course of the last two years many, many brands have duplicated the Artis line of brushes. Just recently, Ulta released an Oval Brush Set for the Holiday season that look quite like the Artis line and of course, many Korean brands such as Etude House and Missha have added brushes like these to their permanent collection.

Is it any wonder? The Artis line is quite a unique line of brushes with soft, densely packed bristles that buff color into cheeks to a flawless, airbrushed appearance. Artis even created a selection of their brushes exclusively for MAC a few years ago.

The new Real Techniques Blend + Blur Brush Collection takes on Artis with their own selection of brushes!

Here’s my thoughts and review.
