Summer’s here which means my skin is sort of freaking out. I’m typically a vampire and I try to avoid the sun as much as possible and SPF myself to death but when the warmer weather hits I’m outside a lot more and it can’t be avoided. I tend to tan easily as well even with a high level of SPF on my face plus add in air conditioner and humidity and suddenly my dry skin is doing all sorts of weird stuff like being oily one minute and super dry the next.
This all means I have to take time out and switch up my skincare as well as shades of my concealer and foundation!
Here’s some makeup and skincare I’m really loving on my face at the moment during the warmer weather.
Bliss In the Honey Mega Moisturizing Lavender Honey Mask ($12.99) is a gel mask created with drier skin types in mind that softens, smooths, and hydrates dry, tired skin.
As you may know Bliss reinvented themselves a few short months ago with brand new packaging and lower prices. I’m actually really proud of them as a brand as instead of just closing shop due to perhaps poorer sales they sat down, thought about things, and decided ok, the way to go is new brighter packaging and more affordable prices. I don’t think they were all that expensive before but now they seem even more attainable with prices starting as low as $10 bucks. They are also available at mask retailers such as Target and Ulta.
I mean, I’m only assuming their new packaging and prices might be due to poorer sales, I don’t know that for a fact but none the less they are bright, fresh, newly packaged, and newly priced if you’re look to rediscover your love for Bliss or to introduce yourselves to them for the first time.

This set includes two of my fav items the marine cream and cream-oil! Both are really hydrating and leave my duller skin looking amazing in the AM! I grabbed one of these for myself as a backup plus I’ve never tried the eye recovery cream so that’s an added bonus!
