Covergirl Vitalist Elixir Lip Oil ($6.99) is a little late to the lip oil party but as they say better late than never. Vitalist Elixir Lip Oil launched in six shade selections a few months ago but for some reason or another I had a difficult time locating these little guys and finally scored them at the evil empire aka Walmart.

So many different lip oils have come and gone through my life the past year such as E.L.F. Tinted Lip Oil, Ulta Juice Infused Lip Oil, Butter London Sheer Wisdom Lush Lip Oil, Yes To Miracle Primrose Lip Oil, and many, many others.

Nowadays regular old sheer lip oils is out and tinted lip oil in. Which means you not only get a nourishing, hydrating oil blend for your dry lips but also a hint of color with the treatment. L’Oreal actually has a lip oil upcoming for Summer 2018 shortly which is already available in the UK and arrives in the US this May. So, I guess the drugstore isn’t quite over the lip oil trend.
