Clinique Fresh Pressed Daily Booster with Pure Vitamin C 10% Launches

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Meet the new Clinique Fresh Pressed Daily Booster with Pure Vitamin C 10% ($76) which is likely their most expensive skincare to date. This fresh take on Vitamin C will treat uneven skin tone, dullness, fine lines, age spots, and more.

This set includes four booster shoots which have to be used within 7 days of opening them. The idea of the booster is to give you a shot of fresh vitamin C with each use. It’s difficult to keep Vitamin C stable and this packaging acts to allow you to get a fresh shot of it daily. Each 0.29 oz shot includes enough product for up to 7 uses. Miss two drops with your moisturizer in the AM and the PM. To get the full potency of the treatment use each shot within seven days of opening it.

I love the idea of this but I’m a little unsure of the end result. I’ve tried Vitamin C 10% products in the past and didn’t really notice a difference in my skin tone. I’m also not a massive fan of Clinical Dark Spot Corrector, it just never worked for me. So, I’m somewhat wary of trying this out.

What do you think?

Have you tried Vit C products in the past with successful results?

Do you think Clinique’s formula will work?

Do share!

Clinique Fresh Pressed Daily Booster with Pure Vitamin C 10% is available now at Sephora.com.

Wander Beauty Glow Getter Mist So You Can Mist and Glow

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Imagine if you will a face mist that acts as a highlighter as well. That’s the trick of Wander Beauty Glow Getter Mist ($28)! This new multitasking facial mist not only hydrates your skin with a blend of 25 oils and six fruit and herbal extracts as well as Icelandic glacier water (do you think they send someone over to Iceland to collect blocks of ice which is defrosted and poured into every bottle of mist?. This one calms, soothes, and hydrates but wait, there’s MORE! It’s also a setting spray and a highlighter! This rose scented mist has leaves behind a glowing, luminous finish.

Listen, highlighters are so not over. As much as I wish contouring and highlighting was done, it isn’t. I mean if the trend went away I’d fear Instagram would collapse and youTube would sink into the ocean.

But I think they’ll likely be a slew of new ways to highlight come Summer and I think we’re seeing the first of that in Wander Beauty’s Glow Getter Mist. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again, multitasking products rock. BUT…..there have to be a few exceptions to the rule. I dunno how many people are prepared to set their makeup like this. Basically you’re misting yourself madly with mica.

Interesting idea but I likely won’t try it.

What do you think?

Perricone MD Pre: Empt Series The Fixer Solid Oil Balm Launches

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Perricone MD Pre: Empt Series The Fixer Solid Oil Balm ($38) is a new solid, multitasking oil balm that can be used all over your body. How much do you love multitasking products? I’m raising my hand and waving it back and fourth like that annoying kid that knows the answer in class. I have a thing for multitasking balms and moisturizers. This particularly formula contains no mineral oil, alcohol, talc, waxes, fillers, or petrolatum.

You can use it on rough elbows, knees, anywhere you need moisture. The balm apparently changes to an non-greasy oil on contact with skin and absorbs quickly while hydrating skin. You can even use as a brow gel or on flyaway hair. Interesting right?

Problem.

It’s $38 bucks.

Ouch.

Cheaper options available, see below!

Do Buy These Skincare Products But Don’t Buy Those Ones!

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

You know how I know it’s Winter? When its 60 degrees in New York one day and it’s 10 inches of snow predicted for the next. You know how else I know it’s Winter? When I start overly moisturizing myself to the point I glide across a room when I walk. Lucky enough, the Winter has been a mild one in Gotham but it can be a little bit of hell on your skin when it’s warm one day and cold the next.

I’ve been quite busy sharing my thoughts on a slew of new skincare these past few weeks! Some of which are hopefully getting you through the cold (and warm) weather.

Here’s a remind of some skincare you should buy and others you should avoid.
