A few year’s ago something changed with Urban Decay’s Primer Potion formula. I couldn’t tell you exactly what happened but the formula wasn’t the one I knew and loved. I remember UDPP being thin, easy to blend, quick to absorb, and kept my shadows on all day with nary a crease. But back in 2011 something changed and the formula just wasn’t quite working out as well as I remember.

Needless to say between that time I’ve tried hundreds of eyeshadow primers some of which were pretty great formulas.

But guess what?

I haven’t worn eyeshadow primer in a while and that’s ok!

Kiko Fall 2.0 has arrived and with it a new Creamy Matte Foundation as well as some fantastic metallic eyeliners, eyeshadows, and more.

I’m most curious about the Kiko Creamy Matte Foundation as I know matte sounds horrifyingly dry but lately matte foundation looks pretty darn good on my skin. Maybe it’s the extra shine and oil from the Summer sun or maybe matte foundations have become a little more sophisticated because I’m kind of digging them lately. Tarte Shapetape Concealer was a matte finish that surprised me as it totally works well under my eyes without caking, looking dry, or creasing into my finer lines.

The new Kiko Magnetic Eyeshadow also caught my eye. Does anyone remember those MAC blackened pressed pigments from a few years ago? God, completely have a Monday moment and forgot the name of them but these new Kiko shadows look a lot like them.

I’m also terribly curious about the Kiko Extreme Lipgloss! I’m hoping it’ll be a cheaper dupe of my beloved Dior Addict Lip Maximizer High Volume Lip Plumper!

There’s a new powder Burt’s Bees Blush coming this Fall to drugstores and I can’t wait to try it! I think I’m going to order the Burt’s Box in the hopes that it might be inside.

The Burt’s Box is a limited edition, one time beauty box that gets you exclusive access to eight brand new products from Burt’s Bees. Unfortunately, the contents are a surprise! Apparently, the box contains eight full-size products as well as four additional items that can be used with the eight. I assume that might bean the four additional are tools or brushes of some sort!

The contents are valued at $125 but the box is $65.

I ordered one in the hopes it might contain the new upcoming blush!
