Dermablend Flawless Creator Multi-Use Liquid Pigments for Fall 2017

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Dermablend Flawless Creator Multi-Use Liquid Pigments ($40) are a new range of lightweight concentrated pigments that allow you to customize your coverage. Created with a water-free and oil-free formula you get pigmented coverage in its purest form.

As we all know Dermablend is associated with offering some of the highest coverage products in the beauty market. The brand is commonly marked towards anyone that experiences severe redness or even birthmarks that need super pigmented coverage. They even offer coverage for tattoos. It’s an interesting they are taking on the liquid pigment trend that was so popular several months ago. I know I’m absolutely loving Hard Candy Glamoflauge Mix”in Pigment Makeup Drops at the moment.

Dermablend’s formula promises a lightweight, fade-proof formula that provides up full coverage using four drops (or sheerer coverage by applying one). They offer the drops in 12 different shade selections.

I’m curious about this formula. It’s a bit expensive but knowing the coverage that comes with Dermablend’s products I have no doubt it is completely worth it. I really liked Hard Candy’s version however, I struggled with Cover FX’s formula which I found too heavy and mask-like. Dermablend promises weightless, lightweight coverage so, I’m hoping it’s much better than CoverFX.

We shall see.

Dermablend Flawless Creator Multi-Use Liquid Pigments are available now at Ulta.com.

Fill in the Beauty Blank: I Remember When…..

Some people are fond of saying, “I’m turning into my mother!” As for me, I’m turning into my father. We all mentally role our eyes when my dad starts in on one of his “I remember when…” speeches.

I remember when I had to walk to school in eight feet of snow without any shoes on.

I remember when there was no Tivo and we only had VCRs and blank cassettes.

I remember when bread was a dollar a loaf.

My dad is fond of remembering the good old days and apparently so am I.

Lately, I find myself reminiscing about the good old makeup and beauty days. There are so many things I miss about the makeup world. So, many products I wish were still around. So, many formulas that have changed.

Speaking of formula changes….

Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Is On My Buy List

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

The new Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Eyeshadow Palette was revealed on Instagram today and without a doubt it’s on my Fall list of must buys! I never got a chance to review it but I really enjoyed the Huda Beauty Rose Gold Edition Eyeshadow Palette. No, it didn’t have the softest mattes in the world, no the formula was the greatest in the world, but for some reason the shades just worked so well for me and blended quite easily for something that was a bit denser in texture. And I really loved the foiled metallic shades! They paired up fantastically with the mattes and didn’t look frosty or too cray shimmer.

On September 18th, Huda will be launching her second eyeshadow palette which contains 18 new shades inspired by the desert at dusk. It looks like there are considerably more shimmers in this one but it’s a little hard to tell from promo images alone.
