I think the action in this season is beyond anything we’ve seen in past seasons. It’s just one thing after the next and damn exciting to watch unfold on screen. But you have to question, through all of this, if anyone is actually ready to take on the White Walkers. That’s the real question that begs answering.

NYX Cosmetics is now available at Walgreens stores! I ran across two large displays (back and front) at two different Walgreens stores so far. This is great news if you want to see colors up close and personal. NYX has been making their way through a variety of drugstores lately which is making it more and more mainstream. It’s nice not having to buy it online and seeing products and shades up close and personal.

As for Walgreens, well they continue to step up their game by offering a variety of new brands such as Soap & Glory. Since closing down drugstore.com it seems like Walgreens is trying to bring in more and more beauty brands that were once sold at drugstore.com. They also seem to be concentrating heavily on dedicating more and more space to skincare and makeup in store. I’ve been to some stores that have really incredible set ups for their latest makeup launches.

Now if they’d only do something about their pricing….! I always feel like Walgreens and CVS are really high even when they are having sales!

Be sure to head to your local Walgreens soon and see if you catch the NYX display!

Soap & Glory Spritz Me Quick Moisture Spray ($12) has arrived on US shores and I’m quite excited because the little things excite me in the skincare world. Remember when St Ives Hydration Spray Lotion released? Suddenly, the drugstore world was flooded with moisturizing body mists! Needless to say I love these although, they are a danger to your health if you’re applying them in your bathroom as they can make the floor very, very slippery. Word to the wise, lay a towel down before applying!

I think it’s a rather novel idea to mist on lotion is a good one. You can get a nice, sheer layer of moisture without a lot of work and it’s a lot less stickier than applying your regular heavier body cream or lotion.

Soap & Glory Spritz Me Quick Moisture Spray is a non-greasy formula that contains coconut oil and shea butter as well as the original pink frgrance of rose and bergamot that the brand is so well known for.

Just mist something of this moisturizer on, rub in with your hands, and you’re good to go. It apparently absorbs in a snap and leaves skin feeling soft and smooth.

If you’re a fan of contouring creams you’ll be happy to know the new Kat Von D Shade + Light Creme Contour Palette launched today! Kat originally introduced this palette in a powder formula but for Fall 2017 we’re getting a cream version of it. I think it’ll make drier skin folks very happy as contouring with cream on drier skin is always a lot easier and seamless compared to powders which can cling to drier areas.
