I couldn’t help but think what a wonderful Mother’s Day Gift the Lollia Petite Handcream Set would make! Not for my mom though…le sigh! I’m not sure where I came from. I like to think aliens popped me onto my parent’s doorstep and they took me in of the kindness of their hearts because I am seriously, not like my mom (but a bit like my dad so there’s that). She’s so not into beauty, makeup, skincare, etc….! Although the exception to that rule would be fragrance! She does so love perfume!

But lipstick? Nay! Foundation? Nope! Hopefully when I’m her age I look as young as she does. Dunno how she did it but she’s not one for expensive skincare or beauty yet she still looks incredible.

Alice Through the Looking Glass is set for release in theaters on May 27th and there’s a buzz of excitement in the makeup world thanks to the release of the Urban Decay Alice Through the Looking Glass Eyeshadow Palette and Lipsticks!

Disney Store has also updated with a great selection of goodies featuring Alice and the entire cast of characters from Wonderland. I thought I’d do a post today on some of the best cushion foundations for sheer, lightweight coverage. Spring is here and Summer soon to follow so I’m sure many of you are lightening up your foundation routines and trader in higher coverage formulas for more sheerer, lighter ones.

There’s nothing as bad as wearing a ton of foundation on a hot, humid day! I’m actually one who likes sheer, lightweight coverage throughout the year. I have dull skin that’s drier but I do not have visible pores, blemishes, or acne to conceal. So, lighter foundations to even out my skin tone, brighten it while easing dullness is about all the coverage I require.

I started using cushion foundation in 2012 just around the time it started to gain popularity of Korea. Many Korean brands offer higher coverage in their cushion formulas but I’ve lucky enough to discover some very, very nice lighter fluid cushion foundations right here in the US.

Here are my picks of the best cushion foundations for sheer, lightweight my skin but better coverage!
