Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream ($45) is becoming a cult beauty favorite as the moment. This fast absorbing cream helps to tighten and smooth the appearance of skin thanks to a blend of cupuaçu butter, açaí, and coconut oil as well as guaranà, a native Amazonian plant that apparently contains potent forms of caffeine. Ummm hello? Why waste the caffeine on a body moisturizer, let’s get some of that action in an eye cream.

P.S. Did I tell you it smells like pistachio caramel?

I’m buying it. My wibbly wobbly body needs a little helping hand.

When Tarte talks mascara, I listen! Being a long time fan girl of Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara has taught me I have absolutely no reason to cheat on my mascara because Tarte’s formula does the job and does it well.

I recently picked up Simple Nourishing 24HR Day/Night Cream ($12.49) because my skin was busy being incredibly dry but also a little bit sensitive. Honestly, my skin is resilient as hell but this past Winter it decided that it was going to completely confuse me.

So I’ve been trying to keep things as basic as possible due to the fact it wants to be freaky. Simple seemed like the way to go as their line is supposed to be great for sensitive skin users and First Aid Beauty just hasn’t cut it for me.
