One of the most interesting things to come out of the Dior Holiday 2016 Collection would be their new Diorific Matte Fluid Lip & Cheek Velvet Colour ($38). I mean look at that packaging? Move out of the way Chanel Allure Ink Matte Liquid Lip Colour you got some multitasking competition on your hands.

Available in four shade selections this limited edition formula comes housed in a gorgeous vial with gold accents. The velvety texture that sets to a matte finish on lips but the powdery cream-like consistency works easily on cheeks as well to give your face a pop of natural color. Sweep a little onto cheeks for a more natural finish or add some more for a pop of color!

These look like a way more elegant version of YSL Baby Doll Kiss and Blush right? And a more pigmented, colorful version of the new RMK Classic Film Cheeks!

The Urban Decay Full Spectrum Eyeshadow Palette will be launching at Sephora late in October at Sephora.com and is filled with 21 shades of vibrant eyeshadows, 18 of which are reportedly brand new.

If you recall last year we got the Spectrum Eyeshadow Palette around the same time. This is exciting release for those who are a bit tired of the Naked round of palettes. Urban Decay Holiday 2016 brought us the lovely Ultimate Basics Eyeshadow Palette but for those who crave more color and who love Urban Decay’s roots of vibrant, bold shades of color that palette might have been a bit boring and uneventful! Let’s face it, Urban Decay is about color not about nudes right?

So, if color is your think I’m sure the Urban Decay Full Spectrum Eyeshadow Palette will be on your holiday wish list!

By the way, the MAC Holiday 2016 Collection is being previewed on their site today. Looks like a Nutcracker theme, hmmm Philosophy Holiday 2016 was also all about the Nutcracker! I wonder if we’ll see another Clinique Nutcracker launch! Do like!

As a film buff I have to say that the Too Faced Grande Hotel Cafe had me thinking of Wes Anderson’s the Grand Budapest Hotel. Doesn’t it just have that vibe? This limited edition Holiday 2016 set might look like a Wes Anderson film but the inside holds a trio of eyeshadow palettes inspired by Christmas treats like Eggnog Latte, Peppermint Mocha, and Gingerbread Cookies! Not to mention each palette is scented like the treat it is named after.

Sephora Sparkle & Shine Z Palette for Holiday 2016 arrives today in a sparkly gold design! This $30 compact can be filled and arranged anyway you want! Each palette contains a small key to help you wriggle out your pans from compacts and also magnetic sticks to pop them into your new Sephora Z Palette. The palette fits blushes and eyeshadows or anything else you want such as pan lipsticks, bronzers, etc…it’s completely customizable and arranged anyway you like!

And I’m cringing at this because I’m a packaging h0r! I save boxes for all my makeup and typically store items in their boxes which takes a hell of a lot more room. But I refuse to depot anything or throw boxes away. I’m a little weird like that. I think beautiful packaging is part of the appeal of makeup. So, depotting anything makes me cringe in horror!

But people really love these Z Palette as you can store a lot of makeup in one small spot!
