Makeup & Beauty To Buy for Yourself This Valentine’s Day

makeup valentine's day

You can’t always depend on your boy or your girl to pick out the perfect Valentine’s Day gift. If you have wonderful girlfriend chances are she might be a bit more considerate with gifting than those of you with boyfriends, because, you know, sometimes boys are a little clueless when it comes to makeup and beauty (I mean just look at all the “My Boyfriend does my makeup” youTube videos!). Not that all boys are, I’ve known some considerate ones but some are so very clueless about makeup and beauty it’ll make you wince.

In that case here a few makeup and beauty gifts to buy for yourself this Valentine’s Day!

Lorac Color Source Buildable Blush 4

Ulta Micellar Water Cleansing Pads Review

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

Ulta Micellar Water Cleansing Pads

Ulta Micellar Water Cleansing Pads ($8) are a new Ulta Spring 2016 that harness the powder of micellar water and pop it into a little pad that you can travel easily with for quickie makeup removal.

My skin is kinda freaking out lately! I’m pretty dry but also a little sensitive in the fact that the less I use on the better because everything seems to dry it out further. Typically micellar water isn’t my pick for removing makeup as I’m one of those people that never feels truly clean after cleansing like this. But with my skin the way it is micellar water is actually a good pick for cleansing as it doesn’t strip or dry me out further.

I kinda sorta like the idea of pre-soaked micellar pads. I dunno why…maybe because they’d travel so easily? Maybe because I just like the idea of not having an endless supply of facial cotton hanging around to use my micellar water as hey, these already come in a pad! Who knows but I do so like the ideas of these.

Here’s my thoughts!
