I’m completely kidding Velveeta had nothing to do with the creation of this NARS Set. But yeah, when I saw that new NARS Liquid Gold Set the first thing that entered by head was the Velveeta Liquid Gold guy! I saw it and started whispering “Liquid Gollllddd” mentally in my head.

If nothing else Velveeta knows how to sell processed cheese like it really is gold! NARS should tap them to sell their new gift set!

The NARS Liquid Gold Set sets you up with the Multiple in South Beach (shimmering apricot), Illuminator in Hot Sand (peach champagne), and Larger than Life Lipgloss in Gold Digger (sparkling peach shimmer).

Don’t say, I’m thinking it, rename potential, “NARS Liquid Peach Set”. Nada gold to be had here but yeah, anyway…

Summer is here. Well, kind of. If you live in New York chances are you’re not having much of a Summer at all. I won’t bother you with the details but just know the weather is all the sucks. On that note, I have hopes it’ll warm up soon and you know what that means right? Tis the season for Gel Moisturizer!

I’m sure many of you are likely switching over your skincare at the moment. Perhaps your higher SPFs come out to play and your richer moisturizers are replaced with lighter ones or perhaps you lighten up completely on your skincare because let’s face it no one wants to wear heavy skincare in the heat and the humidity.

Typically, around this time of the year I tend to rely more heavily on gel moisturizers! Gel moisturizers absorb so easily and leave behind a nice hydrated finish on skin without being too oily or creating unnecessary shine. They also wear wonderfully under foundation and other makeup. And let’s not forget how wonderful light they are for oily skin users!

The new L’Oreal Les Quads by Colour Riche for Fall 2016 are starting to the drugstore makeup world. I was browsing these last week and the formula looks a lot like the creaminess we saw from the Les Monos Eyeshadows.

There are eight shade selections to choose from which range in color from neutrals and nudes to traditional smokier shades as well as some color options such as aquas and blues. I’m unsure if these will take the place of the more shimmery L’Oreal Colour Riche Eye Shadow Quads but it seems logical enough as these are quads as well.

I’ll be reviewing the palette I purchased shortly! Stay tuned.

I am a lowly makeup n00b and I especially feel the brunt of that when I run across so many creative and incredible Instagram accounts showcasing makeup skills I can only imagine having.

Missjazminad is currently slaying the makeup world with incredible lip creations like Titanic and Finding Nemo inspired lips! Not only does she do an entire Titanic themed lip look but even included an “iceberg” nail to go along with it.

I can’t even.
