Tarte Tarteist Contour Palette Review & Swatches

This was provided to me by a brand for review and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post but all opinions are my own.

Tarte Tarteist Contour Palette2

The Tarte Tarteist Contour Palette ($45) is a new contour, highlight, and blush compact that includes six powders to contour, define, and add color to your complexion with a step by step guide to create the “strobing” effect everyone is so wild about lately.

Tarte isn’t a virgin to the contouring world as they have introduced bronzer/highlighter compacts in the past featuring their popular Park Ave Princess Bronzer.

The Tarte Tarteist Contour Palette basically takes everything you could possibly need to get your contouring game on and includes it in this one “easy” to use palette.

Let’s take a look!

Sephora + Pantone Universe Modern Watercolors Lip Gloss Set Review & Swatches

This was provided to me by a brand for review and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post but all opinions are my own.

Sephora Pantone Universe Modern Watercolors Lipgloss Set

The Sephora + Pantone Universe Modern Watercolors Lip Gloss Set ($28) is a new, limited edition pastel lipgloss set focusing on the two Color of the Year shades in Rose Quartz and Serenity. As you know from a past post I did Sephora is doing an entire Pantone Universe Makeup Collection in soft pastel shades of color that compliment the soft blue and pink of the Pantone Color of the Year shades.

I’m not much of a pastel girl myself as I have a bit of warmth to my skin and I always feel like fairer skin tones look best in shades like this. On me, they look a bit chalky and pasty no matter how much I try to convince myself I look good in them.

None the less if nothing at all the Sephora + Pantone Color of the Year 2016 Collection is visually gorgeous. I’ve always found pastels very pretty, delicate, and feminine. Some people associate them with Easter or babies and I’m right there with them but I also think softer shades of pink, baby blue, or buttery yellows are really flattering shades for Spring. Just not in makeup sadly for me perhaps accessories and clothes but I, happen to unfortunately be one of those people that can’t pull off a baby blue eyeshadow look or a lipgloss one for that matter.

J.Cat Beauty Liptitude 24/7 Hydrating Lip Stain Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

J Cat Beauty Liptitude 24 7 Hydrating Lip Stain

Currently I’m obsessed with J.Cat Beauty Liptitude 24/7 Hydrating Lip Stain ($5.99). This semi-matte lip stain or liquid lipstick according to moi has intense color pay off and has a lovely, lightweight formula that doesn’t try lips out.

Loves it!
