No idea who Jean Pierre but he has a new (and cute!) micellar water available at Ulta.com. They only offer this in a smaller 3.4 oz bottle for $4.50. Looks like a basic run of the mill micellar water but if you’re curious about micellar waters it might be worth a grab up.

I’m still not fully on board with micellar water’s for complete makeup removal. Mostly they turn into my lazy girl makeup removal when I just want to do a quickie removal and get to bed fast!

I have to admit what really caught my eye was Jean Pierre. Never heard of the brand before but apparently they have a few skincare offerings and a website.

Dontcha just love discovering some new, obscure brand?

I have a beauty confession to make. I sometimes skip out on double cleansing. My nightly skin care routine seems to take ages and includes a slew of different products so sometimes, just sometimes, I skip out on double cleansing.

But when I am being a good, diligent skincare applying girl I double cleansing with a Japanese Collagen Facial Wash. Collagen Washes are super cheap and super effective at remove any left over makeup your micellar water or cleansing oil left behind.

They also contain a great source, in most cases, of marine collagen which is an excellent anti-aging ingredient. Granted, using I can’t say if collagen washes are actually making me look years younger (I doubt it). Apparently it’s also good at rebuilding layer of the skin and reversing damage from UV rays.

I can’t say if I’ll see any long term benefits from using one but I will say they get skin super squeaky clean.
