Guerlain My Terracotta Summer for Summer 2016 arrives this bright, sunny Monday morning! Even though I’m not a massive fan of bronzers and such I still really enjoy when Guerlain releases their Terracotta Collection as I always find at least one thing to love in it like Guerlain Terracotta Blush Sun Shimmer Highlighter, Guerlain Terra Inca Ombre Cream Eyeshadow, and Guerlain Terracotta Blush & Sun.

It’s just a collection that always has at least one thing in I end up loving even though I’m not a fond fan of bronzing products. Although I must admit this year’s collection is allowing me to save a little money as they went smaller and kept things to lips and cheeks only. I prefer when Guerlain focuses on eyes as well as lips and face but this year the collection is a little smaller sans any eye offerings.

Happy Friday!

So many wonderful chats happened this week! We expressed our love and our hate for mineral makeup and we got down and dirty about our insecurities and how comfortable we or aren’t when heading outside without makeup.

It’s always such a pleasure speaking to you all. Just so you know, I think you’re all beautiful!

So, Sephora Play, finally right? When they first introduced Sephora’s new beauty box subscription I was shocked New York wasn’t one of the first states to get it. Because, you know, as a New Yorker I feel somehow entitled to everything first! It’s like, “Well, Sephora Play isn’t available for New York” and I’m all like, “BUT IT’S NEW YORK DAMN YOU!” Typical New York self entitlmenet issues.

I’m not a beauty box kinda girl! I love Memebox but I got a little carried away with it and I noticed I wasn’t using everything I got so it was like, “What’s the point!?” so I stopped buying them for a while. I admit I did just subscribe to Universal Yums! I have a super sweet tooth for sweets and crisps from different countries (especially the UK and the Netherlands) so this box is awesome for me. It basically sends out a selection of sweets, crisps, etc..from a different country each month! I just got Poland yesterday! I was going to do an unboxing post on Musings of a Muse and I changed my mind because it’s SO NOT makeup!

Anyway, the weather is sunny and it’s going to be like that all weekend here in Gotham! I can’t wait to leave my office today and breath freedom 🙂

Far be it for me to get excited about bronzer Laura Mercier Bronzed Butter Face & Body Veil you have my heart. I’m so not a bronzer kinda girl! When I use it I look dull and awful! Same holds true for when I get a tan. It just isn’t pretty at all.

A limited edition Victoria Beckham and Estee Lauder Makeup Collaboration is upcoming for Fall 2016. Estee Lauder announced a partnership with Victoria Beckham today which will be available at esteelauder.com as well as on Victoria’s site at victoriabeckham.com.
