Charlotte Tilbury Magic Night Rescue Cream Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Night Rescue Cream6

I reviewed Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream earlier this month for you and I decided I’d follow up with my thoughts on Charlotte Tilbury Magic Night Rescue Cream ($145) which I ended up liking a hell of a lot more than the regular Magic Cream.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Night Rescue Cream, her original Magic Cream, and the new Magic Eye Rescue Cream were available some months ago in the Magic Skin Trilogy which was $285 and sold out rather quickly although it is now back in stock at www.charlottetilbury.com.

I was fairly unimpressed with Magic Cream and some of that stems from the very high price tag. It’s lovely stuff but the price point just doesn’t match up to what you’re getting plus add in the fact it comes in a jar and well, it feels like you’re burning money.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Night Rescue Cream is considerably more impressisve and I fear for my safety with this stuff as it is $145 and I can see myself repurchasing it because I actually love it!

But why the jar?!

Are Makeup Trends Becoming Too Pushy, Aggressive, and Having Longer Shelf Lives?

makeup trends

Color correcting, contouring, strobing, matte lipsticks, there are a lot of ongoing, no end in sight makeup and beauty trends that seem to have had a longer shelf life than other makeup trends I’ve seen in the past.

I find makeup trends tend to have a shelf life of around three to six months or if you’re lucky you might see that extended by perhaps a year. But it seems nowadays makeup trends are becoming too pushy, too aggressive, and they seem to have longer shelf lives to a point they actually start becoming annoying.

Lip Smackers Disney Tsum Tsum Lip Balms Launch

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

I’m starting to see more and more drugstores stocking the Lip Smackers Disney Tsum Tsum Lip Balms! If you’re not familiar with Tsum Tsums they are little, squishy, plush toys that are highly collectable in a range of different Disney characters.

Lip Smackers Tsum Tsum Lip Balm

Lip Smackers Tsum Tsum

The Lip Smackers Tsum Tsum Lip Balms are available in four Disney characters and flavors for $7 each. These are reminiscent of EOS Lip Spheres or the Sephora Kiss Me Balms but they are a little skinnier and have a finer tip. The packaging is actually quite heavy and almost like a toy of some sort. I couldn’t find them around my area for a while but now they are popping up everywhere. I suspect that’s because Easter is on the way so they’ll make a cute item to tuck into baskets.

Flavors:

  • Mickey (marshmallow)
  • Minnie (strawberry lollipop)
  • Stitch (blueberry)
  • Winnie the Pooh (honey)

Cute aren’t they?

I refrained from buying them all! I’m a little too addicted to lip balm so that was quite a feat I pulled off by resisting.

Lip Smackers Tsum Tsum Lip Balms are launching now in drugstores or get them on sale at kohls.com.
