Fortune Cookie Soap Fish Fingers & Custard Whipped Cream Review

This was provided to me by a brand for review but all opinions expressed are my own

Fortune Cookie Soap Fish Fingers & Custard Whipped Cream

Fortune Cookie Soap Fish Fingers & Custard Whipped is a limited edition body cream releasing tomorrow with the Fortune Cookie Soap Man With a Box Collection. As you know Fortune Cookie Soap’s limited edition Man in a Box Collection is inspired by Doctor Who so I’m sure, like me, Whovians are running around in circles excited about the launch of this bath, body, and makeup collection. Yes, makeup, they’ll be a limited edition lipgloss that will be available with this collection.

The collection wouldn’t really be complete without a fragrance named Fish Fingers & Custard right? Far from exhausted after his regeneration our introduction to the 11th Doctor starts with a very hyper and peckish Doctor having a young Amelia Pond, his future companion, rustle him up a little snack. Unfortunately, being newly regenerated the Doctor doesn’t quite know what his favorite food is. After a smorgasbord frenzy of foods are tasted and flung out in disgust the good Doctor settles on fish fingers dipped in a creamy custard.

Yummy!

Or funny as Amelia proclaims.

This is introduction of how the 11th Doctor’s personality will play out through three seasons and seven specials. A mad, crazy man with a blue box who at times can be every so slightly serious on a rare occasion.

But I digress, what’s most important now is how does Fortune Cookie Soap Fish Fingers & Custard Whipped Cream smell?

Fishy and sweet?!

Clinique Lid Pop Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

Clinique Lid Pop

Clinique Lid Pop Eyeshadow ($17) is a very, very exciting Spring 2016 release because well, duh, Clinique Cheek Pop Blush! Clinique took the idea of its popular Cheek Pop Blush and creates a cute range of Lid Pop Eyeshadows to go along with it and I, for one, couldn’t be happier.

I know I’m not the only Cheek Pop Blush fan around here and I think many of you would agree it was one of the blush hits for Spring 2014.

Just like the iconic cult favorite blushes the new Clinique Lid Pop sport a darling little embossed Spring daisy design and come housed in a clear acrylic case. Personally I live for makeup as cute and vanity worthy as these eyeshadows. They are a very, very appealing presentation and as we know from the blush formula they aren’t just a joy to look at but the formula is pretty fab too.

Or is it?

Indie Makeup & Beauty Brand Releases To Look Out for This Week!

Indie makeup and beauty

I happen to be an Etsy junkie. In particular, I’m a fan of seeking out new indie perfume oils and fragrances to try out. It’s a passion of mine and a very expensive obsession. I also like discovering new Indie beauty and makeup brands on Etsy and just generally enjoy Indie products.

I started the Etsy Discoveries category a few years ago to introduce reader’s to some of my favorite stores. Sadly, since mainstream makeup, beauty, and fragrance dominates on my blog I haven’t updated this category in a while even though I’m always shopping something new in the world of Indie beauty.

One of my New Year’s resolutions was to include more Indie beauty brands on Musings. So far, I’ve failed at it sadly but I thought I’d give you a head’s up on some exciting releases to look out for tomorrow to redeem myself!

Get Your Strobe On Without Spending A Ton Of Cash

Strobe Makeup

Ugh I still can’t use strobe, strobing, or fleek in a sentence. I’m trying though!

Kinda?

How am I doing?

Do I sound cool or just idiotic? We’re friends, you can be honest with me.

None the less the strobing trend is here to stay (at least temporarily because lord knows I thought jellies and pop beads were going to be around forever and I ask WHERE ARE THEY NOW?)

So get your strobe on without spending a ton of cash with these new products launching at drugstores now!
