Wet n Wild Photo Focus Studio Eyeshadow Palettes and the new Wet n Wild Tools of the Trade Makeup Brush Set are two new Wet n Wild Centerstage Summer 2015 launches. The Photo Focus Studio Eyeshadow Palettes I believe had already launched a few months ago but I never technically located them so I was happy to see both at Walgreens today!
L’Oreal Miss Manga Rock Mascara arrives in time for Summer 2015 with a new formula that promises a full more volumized lash line with a spiky finish. Now I didn’t really love the original L’Oreal Miss Manga Mascara so I’m NOT entirely sure I’ll like L’Oreal Miss Manga Rock Mascara but I’m always up for a try.

Ciate Eye Chalk Pastel Eye Pencil is a cream eyeshadow pencil that launched with the new Ciate Makeup Collection. Ya know, I’ve been testing out Ciate’s new makeup range for a while now and I couldn’t put my finger on what it reminded me of and finally it came to me! Ciate’s cutesy little makeup range reminds me of Korean brand, Too Cool for School! It was the Ciate Eye Chalk Pencil that sealed the deal as it very much reminds me of Too Cool for School’s offering for some reason.
I happen to be a fan of cream eyeshadow pencils as they just prove so simple to apply and use. When you’re running around in the morning like a chicken without a head and just want to swipe on a quickie yet pretty eye look they are so the way to go.

The lipstick index is a term used by Leonard Lauder to describe the sales of cosmetics (and lipstick) during the recession. Basically, lipstick sales are apparently a good way to tell how the economic health is doing.
During times of a poor economy lipstick sales are up because women (or men) tend to purchase it as a “simple” pleasure versus buying more high end dresses, shoes or other expensive products.
For me, lately, it feels like the Lipstick Index is terribly down!
