Flower Beauty Bright Eyed Under Eye Corrector Perfect ($13) is a new cruelty-free peach-toned corrector available in four shades infused with Hyaluronic Acid, Algae Extract, Coconut Oil, and Gardenia Flower Extract. I actually use under eye corrector in a unconventional way because I don’t have major dark circles to conceal. I love concealers with peachy undertones but typically, they are a little difficult to find! It seems like the undertone is reserved for correctors. So, I use correctors as a concealer versus a corrector! They work great for quickie coverage plus I don’t love layering corrector plus concealer under my eyes as I find it’s a bit too much! I already use a very pigmented concealer (Tarte Shape Tape Concealer) and applying a corrector under that just feels way overkill especially when I don’t require that much corrector after using such a pigmented concealer. I use Tarte Shape Tape Corrector as a concealer which is not the intention of the product but it works great for me as a light concealer that brightens! I’m doing the same with the Flower Beauty Bright Eyed Under Eye Corrector!

The latest viral beauty sensation on Tiktok is how ten year old girls are not only snatching up Drunk Elephant like it’s going out of style but also, they are apparently destroying beauty stores like Sephora. Is this happening in your Sephora store? My Sephora stores are obviously broke because I haven’t experienced this phenomenon. I’ve seen teenage girls in my store that are about 16ish which is normal in my opinion but I can’t say I’ve seen 10 year girls running around buying retinol. At the moment we have a whole host of Tiktokers going viral for sharing stories about working at Sephora and being treated very rudely by ten year old girls, having them destroy displays in the store by opening new product and trying it, and also, they are apparently buying all sorts of acids and retinols they don’t really need.

Where are all the people that prep their face like superstars? You’ll want to gather around for this one! Ilia Beauty The Base Face Milk is a new vegan face milk that can be used as an essence or a lightweight moisturizer. This is a very interesting product and a lot like the Laneige Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer. They kept it very real with this formula and I appreciate that. No alcohol, no fragrance, just moisture. This is a lightweight runny cream consistency that can be used as the first step in your skincare routine and prior to makeup. It’s packed with highly moisturizing ingredients like glyceride, squalane, argan oil, and a few different types of Hyaluronic Acid.

I’m pretty impressed with this formula. I already use Laneige Cream Skin but have to admit the sheer amount of HA in the new Ilia The Base Face Milk has me curious. As a dry skin girl I’m always looking for highly moisturizer products to start off my routine. Something that will aid my moisturizer to sink in easier and to create a nice base for my other skincare and makeup. Essences like this are a great way to do that. Especially ones that contain Hyaluronic Acid. The Laneige one is lovely but I think Ilia definitely did more with this formula. I’m eager to check it out. I’ll share my thoughts with you after trying it.

The new Laneige Cotton Candy Lip Sleeping Mask is about to drop for Spring 2024 and I haven’t been this excited about a new flavor since Pink Lemonade Swirl (which was really yummy). Well, ok, Caramel Apple was also, pretty darn exciting!

Laneige took to Instagram yesterday to sneak peek their newest flavor but it was an epic fail because everyone instantly guessed what it was. I mean, they had a cotton candy machine and a girl making cotton candy! Captain Obvious right? But hey, it’s still exciting to have confirmation of a new Cotton Candy Lip Sleeping Mask flavor. Like clockwork Laneige always comes through with the delicious seasonal Lip Sleeping Masks.

I really think they excel at the fruity, candy flavors in particular. Pink Lemonade Swirl was such a win for me so I have really high hopes for Cotton Candy. The new Laneige Cotton Candy Lip Sleep Mask will be available on the Sephora app on January 22nd and launches at sephora.com on 23rd and also, at kohls.com and laneige.com the same time.
