Do you have a list of Beauty and Makeup that’s in for 2024? How about the Makeup and Beauty that’s out for 2024? I saw a few Tikokers doing a Beauty in and out for the new year and I thought the idea was quite clever.

The NARS Lunar Year 2024 Makeup Collection is now available on the NARS website and should be available shortly at other retailers. This year we’re getting a repromoted shade of Lunar Year Power Matte Lipstick, a Lunar Year Quad Eyeshadow Palette, and a Lunar New Year Light Reflecting Setting Powder. It’s a fairly standard and uneventful collection with repromoted items in bright red compacts giving them that “Lunar Year” feel. But no hate on NARS as this is pretty much always the way when it comes to Lunar Year Collections. New packaging, rehashed shades. It’s a sad reality.
That being said I will give them props for one thing and that’s the Lunar Year Quad Eyeshadow Palette. Yes, it has repromoted shades BUT….here we out.
E.L.F. Jelly Pop Dew Primer ($10) is a new gel makeup primer infused with watermelon extract that launched with the Jelly Pop Makeup and Skincare Collection the brand introduced early this month for Summer 2019.

It seems like gel facial primers all the rage this Summer! I recently tried out Ciate’s London Watermelon Burst Hydrating Primer and maybe E.L.F. was a little inspired by it but I have to admit E.L.F.’s formula is a lot better.
Feelunique is closing shop as of April 3rd, 2024. Yes, they’re going out of business in a few short months. This is the first beauty closing I heard of for the New Year and it’s a sad one. As you may know Feelunique’s Co-Founder Aaron Chatterly stepped away from the brand about a year or so ago with Sephora stepping in developing the company into a “go-to destination for beauty in the UK”. Feelunique’s Instagram account on their website is actually points to Sephora UK and there’s a banner on the site that reads “FeelUnique is not Sephora UK head over to Sephora UK to shop the best bits of Feelunique plus so much more”. Sephora acquired the beauty retailer for $132 million back in 2021. There hasn’t been a lot of news since that acquisition but today the news of Feelunique’s closing down has been announced.
