Information on the 2015 Pantone Color of the Year has been released! The 2015 Pantone Color of the Year shade is entitled Marsala. It’s a red-brown wine which will make for a lovely palette come Fall 2015 as it’s warm, very inviting, and will make a delicious lipstick shade for warm loving red girls and guys.

At this point most are thinking of how wonderful the shade will look against the back drop of Fall fashions in a range of metallic earthy tones. Personally, I’m thinking of lipstick in this color even a warm reddish brown blush or eyeshadow so my focus is on what sort of makeup trends we’ll see with the introduction of this shade. Although the color of the year it seems like a beautiful Fall shade so I look forward to see what Fall 2015 brings in this shade and who knows it might just dominate Summer 2015 Makeup Collections as well.

I’m also very curious if Sephora will launch a new Pantone Color of the Collection celebrating Marsala! One can hope so as it truly is a gorgeous color.

True story, when I was like 13-14 I used to wear these little stick on jewels at the corner of my eyes. I dunno, I was thinking maybe I made a major fashion statement with those little jewels but now I look back and think, “What WERE you thinking?” I actually have those thoughts about past love of Vanilla Ice and NKOTB as well…

I mean did you ever think you’d reach an age in your life where you’re literally embarrassed to think back to grade school and High School? Does this mean I’m getting old?

Anyway, there was also that one time where Vajazzling was a thing and it completely entered my mind when I saw the new Benefit Cosmetics Bling Brow Set. Yeah, perverted moment.
