L’Occitane en Provence Divine Lotion is skin softening toner that I’ve been using several months now. I really enjoy the L’Occitane en Provence Divine Skincare Collection but actually use the lotion more than anything else from the collection.

Skin softening lotions (essences) or as we label them here in the US “toners” are getting some recognition lately. I suspect by Spring 2015 you’ll see a little bit of a trend for them. Essence is a common part of Asian skincare and one of the first steps in skincare application. Skin softening lotions like L’Occitane en Provence Divine Lotion is just one product in a long line of others that a typical Asian woman or man would use in their daily regime. Typically skincare regimes in Asia are made up of 5 to 8 daily products. Imagine that? I’ve adapted my own nighty skincare after this regime myself as I spend a lot of time around Japanese and Korean skincare and makeup. It seems overkill yes but actually my drier skin quite loves it.
