This is the first makeup collection in a while that I’m really excited about! I happen to be a massive fan of Digital Dust (please just buy Genesis already and thank me later! AMAZING!) and this collection features a new True Love Never Dies Digital Dust Highlighter embossed with Jack and Sally. Slay me now I need it! They also have this amazing burnt orange and red orange pot eyeliner! Gawd! I can’t. I’m not really into the Halloween Town Eyeshadow Palette but I have a feeling that will end up in my cart anyway as I’m a huge fan The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Farmacy Green Clean Vault Cleansing Balm Mega Set ($190) for Holiday 2023 has arrived and it might be a little overkill. What’s the Farmacy Green Clean Vault Cleansing Balm Mega Set? It’s a new Holiday Vault and Gifting Set featuring 11 (1.7 oz each) Green Clean Cleansing Balm in old favorite scents and of course, the original Green Clean formula we all know and love.

This isn’t a full-size set. These are 1.7 oz each versus a full-size that is typically 3.4 oz. It does however, have a value of $264 and features fragrances from past Farmacy Holiday Sets like Tangerine Twist from Holiday 2022. I find myself wishing they’d have brought back Very Cherry Cleansing Balm.

Here’s where things get Grinch-y. I find myself wondering if I really need to buy 11 cleansing balms at one go? I mean, I love this formula and I’m going to use it that’s for sure but do I really need 11 pots of cleansing balm at one go? This vault might be a little overkill. I actually wish they did maybe three cleansing balms in new, limited-edition fragrances and paired it up with a few different skincare pieces to make it a more well rounded vault. Who knows? They may still do a skincare vault as well! I’m waffling on this. A small part of me wants to indulge in it and another part of me is questioning if I need that much cleansing balm at one time.

Today we have a bunch of Fenty Beauty Holiday 2023 Gift Sets to sort through but I do wonder if we’ll see a limited-edition Fenty Beauty Holiday 2023 Eyeshadow Palette or Face Palette of some kind! Remember the Fenty Beauty Galaxy Eyeshadow Palette that launched with the Fenty Holiday 2017 Collection? It had 14 celestial-inspired shades. I have a feeling we likely won’t get a palette from Holiday Palette from Fenty this year but there are a lot of gloss heavy sets this year and if you’re a big fan of the Gloss Bomb formula you’ll love on that new Fenty Beauty The Gloss Bomb Vault Full-Size Universal Lip Luminizer 10-Piece Set that has all full-size Gloss Bombs. There’s also a new Fenty Beauty by RihannaGloss Bomb Crystal Holographic Lip Luminizer which I personally think is a hit at Fenty Beauty Spring 2024 as I bet we get a few shades of this new shade-shifting Gloss Bomb for the Spring! Patrick Ta Major Holiday Face Palette for Holiday 2023 ($65) is set to drop on September 30th and is available now on the Sephora app and it’s…well, it’s interesting. Patrick Ta definitely hit the glitter this year and I personally love that for the Holidays! There are two new Patrick Ta Make it Major Multidimensional Glitter Eye Toppers that launched with the Patrick Ta Holiday 2023 Makeup Collection and I’m thinking I need the gold one. Those shades do lean towards being more festive and Holiday-ish but the new Major Holiday Face Palette I’m on the fence about. This isn’t really something Patrick is known for as he’s more of a nude kind of guy in the eyeshadow department! Although, he is no stranger to bright pops of pink blush. I’m just not sure this is what we want or need in a Holiday Palette. The palette contains 2 new blush shades, two repromoted shades and four glitter eyeshadows. Two of the blushes are creams which isn’t always a great idea in a glittery palette like this but there is a clear plastic overlay to protect the creams from the any glitter fall out from the shadows.

The comments are very positive on the Reel that was posted on the Patrick Ta Beauty Instagram account so, I could be in the majority thinking this isn’t something I need nor want for the Holiday season. I mean, that’s ironic considering how much I love a sparkly Holiday look but I dunno, this just isn’t what I’m looking for from someone like Patrick Ta. The palette just looks a bit uneventful and dare I say the glitter shadows are giving Wet n Wild Halloween Cream Glitter Palettes (remember those?). The Holiday releases sure have been unique this year. Pastels, bright shades of pink, hmmmm!

Cult Beauty is busy in the Makeup and Beauty Advent Calendar world this year! Cult Beauty Advent Calendar for Holiday 2023 is jammed packed full of products from Natasha Denona, Paula’s Choice, Byredo, Glow Recipe, and much more. This one is over $1200 worth of product for $280 bucks. They do sneak in a few little bits and bobs you may not want like a Compact Mirror, Sleeping Mask and Pillow Case but there’s SO much more to get excited about it here we can probably over look that (at least they aren’t pulling a Chanel Advent Calendar on us! We aren’t here for the stickers thanks so much!).
