I think we’ve finally run out of ideas because Tarte has released a new selection of Pastel Maracuja Juicy Shift Plumping Gloss Balm and I can’t….! Sorry I’m a grouch but someone has to stop the pastel released in the Fall. These brands must be stopped. Please guys, save these launches for Spring 2024! I’m talking to you Charlotte and you too Bobbi. Enough.

There has to be another way! I know some people love pastels but I’m just not that person and I’ll tolerate them but just not when we are knee deep in Holiday Collections and Fall has just arrived. Come on.

The Bobbi Brown Holiday 2023 Gift Sets are starting to trickle in but it may be a little while before we see the Holiday Color Collection. One thing about Bobbi Brown she may long be gone but Estee Lauder still keeps the her tradition of releasing Holiday Gift Sets and a Holiday Color Story alive. I’m sure we’ll get a new eyeshadow palette, highlighter, and perhaps some lipsticks as well as we get closer to the end of this month and into October.

We’ve already since one of the Holiday 2023 releases which is the Bobbi Brown Eyes All Aglow Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick Set. I love this set as it contains five full-size Cream Shadow Sticks along with a mascara. I’m a fan girl when it comes to these and Laura Mercier’s Caviar Sticks so I love they did a larger set this year. I’d take a library one if they did it. I use them often as a base, worn alone, etc…!

Anyway, let’s take a closer look at this years gift sets.

Ready for a Casper the Friendly Ghost Makeup Collection? Casper the Friendly Ghost x Profusion Cosmetics has arrived to haunt your Halloween with an assortment of makeup must haves inspired by the friendliest of ghosts! I’m a Halloween girlie. I’m absolutely obsessed with the Holiday and decorate our home top to bottom, inside and out plus throw a massive party every year to celebrate. That being said, I’m also not quite in my “cute makeup” era anymore. So, I’m sadly the Grinch of Halloween when I say I dunno if I actually need anything from this collection. It’s cute but nothing here is a must have for me.
