Do Want: Bath & Body Works Sparkling Pink Champagne Hand Soap

I was taking inventory of my Bath & Body Works Hand Soap Collection a few days ago and have plenty enough to keep me busy over the course of the next millennium or two.

But how can I rest Pink Champagne pray tell?

Slay me. I need a new way to store all these hand soaps! Pink Champagne promises the scent of pink sugar with sparkling notes of mandarin and fizzy champagne.

I guess I have room one more, just one more hand soap in my collection. Right? Right.

In other news, I’m terribly proud that I got my tree and all my outdoor decorations up on Friday. I typically wait for the week after Thanksgiving to put them up but I felt rather motivated to get it done. Did you get yours up yet? I also got much of my shopping done Friday and Monday! Thank you Internet Gods for all the awesome deals what would we do without you? I read that online sales would top 1.5 billion this year. Not very good news for physical stores and malls but oh so convenient for those of us who do prefer shopping in our PJs.

P.S. Can you spot K-9 in the tree?

Here’s a sneak peek at the new Hard Candy Eye Sparklers Eyeshadow Set that was released for Holiday 2012. As you know Hard Candy released a few gift sets for Holiday 2012 that I recently showed you in a past post.

This set features three palettes for a mere $5 bucks so beauty budget fans will be quite happy that they can either haul all three for themselves or break the set up and gift to friends.

If you have a younger girl or teen in your life this is a nice stocking stuffer as well!

Take a look!

Avon Foot Works Pomegranate Chocolate Collection Review

The Avon Foot Works Pomegranate Chocolate Collection ($12.99) would make a rather delightful stocking stuffer. I purchased one for my sister recently, it arrived, I proceeded to fall in love with it, and selfishly kept it for myself.

I do solemnly swear I felt a heap guilty about that so I ordered another one on Cyber Monday for her stocking. See? I’m not all greedy….!

This is a nice small gift idea for a teacher, a mail girl (if you have one!), or as a stocking stuffer.

Take a look!

L’Oreal Buys Urban Decay Cosmetics

L’Oreal announced on their site today they signed an agreement to acquire Urban Decay

“Urban Decay will beautifully complement L’Oréal Luxe’s portfolio of iconic brands. It is the make-up specialist we needed to fully satisfy young women in search of playful colors and inspiration in selective distribution, at an accessible price point. It is totally additional to our existing propositions and as such it will contribute significantly to the growth of the Division in the years to come,” said Nicolas Hieronimus, President L’Oréal Luxe.

“L’Oréal’s strong innovation capabilities and presence in every channel of distribution will enable Urban Decay to reach its full potential in the marketplace,” added Tim Warner, General Manager, Urban Decay. “Together, we have great ambitions for the future.”

The closing is subject to regulatory approval which is expected by the end of the year.

L’Oreal represents a rather large portfolio of brands some of which test on animals so the future of Urban Decay’s Animal Testing Policy is in question. But I imagine that Urban Decay wouldn’t go into this decision without taking all of this into consideration so I do believe you probably won’t have to worry about their animal testing policy.

Update: Urban Decay has officially announced they will remain a cruelty free brand even after L’Oreal becomes their parent company.
