It’s been five days and I’m convinced Patchology FlashPatch Rejuvenating Eye Gels have changed my life but I stupidly ordered them too late. I got these in a 15 pair jar along with the Mini FlashPatch Restoring Night Eye Gels (I haven’t tried these yet) and I’m in love but I’m also dumb. I was convinced these wouldn’t sell out during the 21 Days of Beauty Sale and sadly the larger size did by the time I got around ordering them. They were 50% off and I so wish I could have snagged the larger size as I had no idea I would love this as much as I do.

I’m typically a major fan of Pixi Eye Gels (all the formulas are great) which by the way are on sale at ulta.com at the moment. But the FlashPatch Rejuvenating Eye Gels are totally are amazing. I put these on at night before bed and leave them on for half an hour. I finish off with my nightly eye cream and I’m convinced these do make my eyes look not only smoother but less puffy in the morning. I have a weird issue where one of my eyes is puffier than the other because that’s the eye I sleep on as I’m a stomach sleep but my head is typically turned to the left which gives my right eye a puffy weird look in the AM. I’m absolutely convinced the caffeine in these little patches has been doing the job of depuffing that area. I dunno if I’m insane or what but I totally dig these. The funny thing is that I didn’t even want this formula. I wanted the Restoring Night Eye Gels because I had read a review few reviews that were much better. But I didn’t even try those yet because they turned out so great for me. Anyway, I thought I’d share for the girlies and guys struggling with baggage and puffiness. I’m loving these.

Sephora Holiday 2023 Gift Sets have arrived and I see a few cute items but there are others that have me scratching my head. I remember when they used to do these luxurious makeup brush sets with strong handles and beautiful brush rolls and makeup bags that the sets came with. I also remember the bigger Blockbuster Palettes that everyone went absolutely insane to grab and which sold out rather quickly. Now we get real cheap looking makeup brush sets which I can easily skip and tell people please get some Real Technique Makeup Brushes if you want something inexpensive but don’t splurge on these. We also get weird Mini Blockbuster Multi-Use Makeup Palette and 16 Pan Eyeshadow Palette with the weirdest selection of shades that make no sense to me at all. I mean, they literally do the least amount of work putting these shades together. I need to speak to the person who approved these because they simply awful. Strange primary pastel shades with washed up shades of nude just aren’t it. I can guarantee all this will be on clearance within the next three weeks.

I did see a few cute items that would make nice stocking stuffers like the Hot Cocoa Lip Sleeping Mask for $5 bucks and the #LIPSTORIES Lipstick Set which is $20 (the #LIPSTORIES Lipstick have always had a consistency great formula). But a lot of these items aren’t on the top of my must have Holiday List.

I have perfect news for a Wednesday morning! We may have a wait for Wednesday Season 2 due to the writer’s strike but the Hard Candy Wednesday Addams Makeup Collection for Halloween 2023 is sliding into Walmart stores now.

This collection is exclusively available at Walmart and features three eyeshadow palettes, three glitter palettes, fake nails, eyeliner, a makeup eraser pad, and some lip liners! It’s a very cute collection but not something I’d envision for Wednesday’s child who’s so full of woe. I think this is a collection that will be appealing to tween girls and guys and it may tickle a collector’s fancy as well. Personally, I think I can easily skip it. This is something that would have been wildly exciting for me a few years ago but not sure I really need it right now. It’s too “We slapped Wednesday’s image on a hodgepodge of makeup that follows no rhythm or reason but look Wednesday’s picture is on the packaging!”

I know. I sound grumpy. There is one palette featured above that does feel very Wednesday but the rest of it just holds very little appeal for me. And it’s no hate on Hard Candy because I think they have some incredibly stellar makeup launches a lot of which I’ve reviewed and raved. But just not seeing the vision in the Wednesday Addams Makeup Collection!

The Hard Candy Wednesday Addams Makeup Collection is headed into Walmart stores now. Keep your eyes peeled if you want it because I’m sure it’ll sell out fast.

Tell me something you didn’t want but that someone is giving you anyway. I’ll go first. Anastasia Beverly Hills Mini Modern Renaissance and Sultry Eyeshadow Palettes thanks but no thanks. Yes, you heard me correctly the Anastasia Beverly Hills Holiday 2023 will include a Mini Modern Renaissance and Mini Sultry Eyeshadow Palette. From the early sneak peeks on Instagram these look awful. Makeup Gods help me I hope I’m wrong but they look dusky, chalky, and dense in the images that I saw. Also, these palettes were amazing but I think they need to stay in the 2016 youTube era. That’s just me but I don’t think anyone really embraces this full glam heavy, pigmented eyeshadow look anyway. Or maybe that’s me!

The Mini Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette has all matte shades and they look like re-promotes of the following shades from the original palette:

• Tempera
• Golden Ochre
• Vermeer (but a matte version)
• Raw Sienna
• Burnt Orange
• Buon Fresco
• Venetian Red

There are two other shades but they don’t look like anything I’ve seen in my Modern Ren Palette.

For the Anastasia Beverly Hills Mini Sultry Eyeshadow Palette it looks like we’re getting the following shades:

• Twig
• Ember
• Pearl
• Dystopia
• Cyborg
• Birch
• Noir
• Teak
• Slate

It could be the video but these do not look as soft and velvety as the original palette shades. Either way, I really don’t need re-promoted shades because I have both of these palettes in my stash. Perhaps the Anastasia Beverly Hills Mini Modern Renaissance and Mini Sultry Eyeshadow Palettes will be exciting for those who don’t have the full-size palettes in their stash as of yet. To me it’s a boring launch.

Along with the palettes we’ll also be seeing a new Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Seeker Highlighter in Sun Idol. We don’t have an exact date for the launch of these but it will be in October. I’ll update with more info as it becomes available.
