As always the set contains three brand new scents and typically those scents don’t end up becoming a larger size sadly. Which means if you love them, well, you’re going to be sobbing when they are gone. Each jar is 1.7 oz in size and the set is $49 versus last year’s price of $46.

I hate to say this but I’m not sure if I’m going to pick this up because I’ve suddenly become the biggest fan of Tatcha The Indigo Cleansing Balm and I’ve been cheating on my Farmacy Green Clean with it! Who am I kidding? I know I won’t be able to resist.

Do I need more cleansing balm in my current rotation? Probably not considering I have a almost full Strawberry Shortcake Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm plus the Tatcha one plus a few others…ugh! The life of a skincare junkie is hard!

Colourpop is teaming up with Disney yet again and you can probably guess what’s up next! The Colourpop Haunted Mansion Makeup Collection is available now for Halloween! And I am so heartbroken over this. Like literally laying on the ground sobbing. I am huge Haunted Mansion fan! I know crazy facts about the history of the ride, I own a ton of collectibles, paintings, clothing, and accessories etc…I’m a diehard fan! When I heard Colourpop Haunted Mansion was coming I stroked out.

But woe is me…! This isn’t exactly the color collection of my Haunted Mansion dreams. Sigh. The collection consists of a Colourpop Haunted Mansion Eyeshadow Palette that contains 15 shades, four gloss shades, four Supershock Eyeshadows, and a glow in the dark body glitter gel. I’m liking the shades they went with on the single Haunted Mansion Supershock Eyeshadow Collection but the palette just isn’t really what I wanted from the collection. I wish there were more purples, teals, and aquas, The top row is just so drown out and the bottom layer isn’t terribly promising either. It’s giving chalk, it’s giving ashiness…! I’d have loved more dramatic, deeper purples and pops up aqua and teal. It feels like they put that single shade of peacock blue smack in the middle to make things exciting but if you took that out you’d just have a really standard selection of uneventful mauves. I get they wanted to go with some lighter transitional shades but literally the whole top row looks so damn light for a gothic-y Haunted Mansion color scheme. I mean, I’d even go so far as to throw greenish blue in here to represent the ghosts. I don’t really like the images either. It’s more the illustrated version (just like the Hocus Pocus Collection) of it and not the original Disney artwork we known and love.

I hate to say it but I think I’ll likely skip the Colourpop Haunted Mansion Collection. It’s giving me Hot Topic vibes.

Heads up! There are a few new E.L.F. Cosmetics Halo Glow Blush Beauty Wand shades and also, there are new shades of Halo Glow Liquid Filter, Suntouchable! Whoa Glow SPF 30, and Halo Glow Liquid Filter! I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Halo Glow Blush Beauty Wands! I like them a lot just not love them but I am pretty excited to see these new shades!

Estee Lauder Futurist Skin Tint Serum Foundation ($53) is calling my name. I do so love a good tinted foundation! I don’t really use a lot of heavy foundation. I just like something to brighten and even out my complexion but I don’t really have any major issues to conceal (unless you count my tired eyes) which is why I prefer more lighter, natural coverage.

Estee Lauder has my heart at the moment with this new sheer, tinted skin perfector. Futurist Skin Tint Serum Foundation is available in 30 shades and promises an natural, radiant finish with lightweight coverage that’s sweat and humid-resistant with eight hours staying power. Thank you, Estee Lauder for giving use a wear time that’s realistic as I’m tired of hearing about foundations that last 72 hours. Anyone else with me?

This also contains an SPF 20 but really, I’m not sure it even deserves mentioning as I don’t really rely on my makeup to provide me with my sunscreen.- It contains a Botanical Oil blend to hydrate and smooth and a soft clay cocoons that provide a quick-setting finish that’s lightweight and glowy but not greasy.

I wouldn’t have known that Revlon was out of bankruptcy if they didn’t announce the news that Nailea Devora was the new Revlon Global Brand Ambassador. Oops! Back in May Revlon emerged from bankruptcy after handing control of the company over to lenders. We can all stop panicking that Super Lustrous Lipstick will be gone forever!

In my opinion, Revlon still has a ways to go to recreate and refresh themselves as other drugstore makeup brands are far ahead of them in creating fresher, newer products but hopefully with the introduction of their new Brand Ambassador they’ll start creating some new, interesting products.

Sadly, I’m obviously out of touch with pop culture as I have no idea who Nailea Devora is. She’s actually a lifestyle and fashion content create with 19 million followers and has done modeling for Dior.

“I’ve been a longtime Revlon fan since I can remember. My mom has also been a longtime fan and can’t leave the house without wearing Revlon lipstick. When I got the call that I would be able to work with them, it just felt so surreal,” as she recently told WWD.

I guess Revlon is planning to relaunch to a younger demographic since is 21. I found it crazy interesting that at one point celebs were the go to for Brand Ambassador deals and nowadays influencers have an even bigger following that most celebrities in film and TV. You’re talking big names like Lily Collins, Emma Watson, and many more that were chosen as faces for major brands. This is Revlon’s big chance to hit a market that remains untapped for them because I really think the brand is associated with a much more mature fanbase plus they don’t exactly have offers that would appeal to a twenty-something woman.

Let’s see how they recharge and become something new and more appealing. I’m looking forward to see what Revlon does with their new lease they were given on life. Although, it likely won’t be until Spring 2024 as we are already hitting Fall 2023 and I have yet to see them promoting with their new Ambassador! What do you want to see from them?
