I swear to the Makeup Gods that Stila Convertible Color was the $h1t a few years ago. I loved those things. This is prior to realizing how much I enjoy powders versus cream.

But fact, seriously, don’t you agree that Stila Convertible Color has some crazy wear time? Love how they just stick around all damn day.

A few years ago I’d have been delighted they are now doing Convertible Color Trios.

Alas, all good things must come to an end though and I’m not terribly excited about this launch but if you’re a fan I’m sure you will be.

I am however, excited about the Hobbit coming out soon (total excuse to embed this video in the post, enjoy the ear worm).

My Scheming Sakura Night Jelly is a moisturizing gel sleeping mask that can be used to restore hydration to skin over night. There are such an array of sleep masks available from Korea, Taiwan, Japan, and other Asian countries they tend to all run together for me as sometimes they aren’t all that amazing.

I must admit I did like this one though!

The new Lancome Genifique Yeux Light-Pearl Eye-Illuminating Youth Activating Concentrate ($68) is terribly tempting even though Lancome has come under FDA fire recently due to the fact that advertisements for Genifique claim to “boost the activity of genes” and “stimulate cell regeneration to reconstruct skin to a denser quality.”

ABC reports that the FDA sent a letter to Lancome to tone down their description of Genifique.

It’s ok Lancome, I forgive you and I still want your new Lancome Genifique Yeux Light-Pearl Eye-Illuminating Youth Activating Concentrate because I’m betting it’s fantastic.
