Wakey, wakey! It’s Monday and it’s still awful cold outside. When my boyfriend slipped out of bed this morning I dialed the heat on our mattress up to 10 and snuggled down for twenty extra minutes of sleep and it was luxurious. I fear I felt like staying there all day but I hauled my butt up to get my day started.

Two things I hate about New York Winters and that would be the need to just stay in bed because it’s so dull outside and the fact my skin goes into freak out mode. Currently, I’m battling a dry nose and flaky skin the outer area of my nose around my cheek area. I haven’t been sick but with the cold comes a runny nose which accounts for the dry, flaky areas. Ugh! I treat it with one of the cheapest things you can buy from SkinCeuticals and you know damn well nothing from SkinCeuticals is cheap. I’ve raved and reviewed it before as a great pick for healing skin after using acids but it’s always a good talk about again when the cold, Winter air is racking my skin! Any guesses what product I’m talking about?

Winky Lux Peeper Correct Color Corrector ($14) is a lightweight cream color corrector available in two shades selections to use to correct redness and dark areas under the eyes. This is a rather limited corrector since it only comes in two shades that being said it’s one of the very few correctors I’ve come across that’s very easy to use along with concealer. I always find corrector and concealer on top can be a bit too much product which results in creasing, caking, etc…this formula is super light and doesn’t interfere with concealer you may be using on top of it.

Tree Hut Spring 2025 is on the way soon and apparently we’re getting a new Tree Jelly Bear Hut Shea Sugar Scrub that may be scented like gummy bears? With notes of pomelo and apple this new scrub sounds like it’ll smell like a tart, zesty fruity candy. We’ll have to wait and see if I’m right. I thought I was done with Tree hut Body Scrubs because 1. I have enough to last me a lifetime! and 2. some of the latest releases haven’t really interested me.

Unfortunately, I’m weak and these are my favorite scrubs so you know I’ll be first in line to sniff the new Tree Jelly Bear Hut Shea Sugar Scrub! I actually read this wrong and got a little TOO excited as I thought it say “jelly bean” only realizing it said “jelly bear” and had little gummy bears decorating the jar! Duh!

I wonder what else Tree Hut has in store for their Spring 2025 Collection! I love their scrubs so I eagerly await hearing more about what will be available. Tree Hut Jelly Bear Shea Sugar Scrub is coming soon!
