Bath and Body Works Everyday Luxuries are now available in an Eau de Parfum formula! As you know last year Bath and Body Works introduced a range of fragrances that were dupes of high-end fragrances. They sold out super fast on the initial launch! This year they brought them back with some new additions (like a dupe for BR540) plus they introduced body lotions and EDP. Don’t worry, they’re still available in the Fragrance Mist formula as well but how fun to have an EDP version too!

Seeing Rouge is one of the new additions to the collection and it’s a dupe for the very expensive Baccarat Rouge 540. Apparently, this version is a spot on duplication of the extract and has a excellent wear according to the reviews that are popping up. I haven’t personally tried it yet but will head over to BBW at some point for a little sniff test.

I have to admit I’m always amazed at all these inspired by fragrances that have popped up. I can imagine luxury houses are absolutely pissed off by it

Tiktok went dark on Sunday for a few hours and it was chaotic. I was thinking if aliens landed right now would we have the same amount of drama and chaos as we did without having Tiktok for a few short hours? During the pandemonium Tiktokers took to a new trend before the shut down where they confessed some of their deepest, darkest influencer secrets. A lot of interesting confessions were made and we the viewer were left scratching our heads wondering if they were true or just made in jest?

One of the influencers who hopped on this trend is the legendary Meredith Duxbury better known as the girl who uses ten pumps or more of foundation on her. I’m all about freedom of makeup use. You do you. If you want to wear hot pink eyeshadow I support you, if you want to wear purple lipstick I’m here for that too, and if you want to use ten pounds of foundation, well, I’m trying to support you but may judge a little but silently. No but seriously, however you do your makeup is unique to you and not me or anyone else should judge you for it or question your method. Makeup is fun and meant to be enjoyed. There are no rules. I admit I’ve always wondered if Meredith actually USES that much foundation though because it’s a lot.

Baby, it’s cold outside. Brutally so. I’ll be honest with you I’m not even going to complain about it. About a week ago we had an intense week of wind and it made it feel like it was 4 degrees out. This is nothing compared to that. That being said, I’m a New Yorker and we LOVE to b*tch about the weather. LOVE IT. Every phone call I take from a client the first thing they say before even asking how I am is, “Oh my god this weather!”. New Yorkers can go on and on about the cold, the heat, the humidity, and even in the Spring we’ll rant how it’s not warm enough. Visiting New York? Heard rumors we’re not friendly people? Just start talking about the weather and we’ll shoot the sh*t with you and become your bestie instantly.

Anyway, I’m not complaining like I said as I can deal with this as long as we don’t get all that wind we had. My skin however, is in revolt. So here’s a love list of Winter skincare I love and other things to get me through this awful weather.
