Pat Mcgrath Skin Fetish Glass 001 Artistry Mask But Mother We Didn’t Ask For This

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Pat Mcgrath is an absolute god in my books but who asked for the Skin Fetish Glass 001 Artistry Mask to be launched to the public? I know I didn’t. I was as captivated as everyone else when Mother created the “glass skin” look for the John Galliano’s Margiela Artisanal Show. It was a fascinating, unique, and an innovative look. It was serving avant-garde look with a touch of uncanny valley. It was a gorgeous look for a fashion show but wearing this out and about or to work? I’m a little unsure about that.

I will say the look garnered a ton of attention from both people within the beauty industry and those who just love makeup. But I never thought that they’d actually releas this to the general public. It’s actually priced not too badly at $38 and I can’t say I’m not curious enough to buy and try it. However, my question still remains WHEN would I actually use this and would I actually have the courage to walk out of the outside looking like a mannequin. I’ve never been shy about loving doll-like makeup. Pink cheeks, big lashes and doe eyes, that’s a beautiful look but actually have doll-like skin? I’m a little unsure about that.

The OG Makeup and Beauty Products I Still Use Daily

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

There are so many OG makeup and beauty products I wish I could get my hands on today! If I had a time machine I’d bring back Teen Spirit Deodorant (It’s still available but I’d like to see some of the original scents), Maybelline Dream Mousse Concealer, Benefit Lemonaid, and MAC Paints (in particular the shade Soft Ocre)! Hmmm…I’m pretty sure there are dozens more items but we’d be all here if I made a list.

Sadly, some of my beloved makeup and beauty products from yesteryear are long gone but I still use several OG makeup and beauty products there are still here and amazing. Here’s some of my OG Makeup and Beauty products that I use daily.

Someone Has to Say It But I’m Tired of Hearing Shannon Klingman Tell Me My Ass Crack Smells

Oops! I said ass crack. Sorry not sorry. But I have to say if I could block Lume advertisements on all my social media accounts I would be one very happy camper. I think their ads are revolting. They are constantly trying to be “hip” and “modern” and more appealing to “the people” by talking about weird body odors. I guess they think this marketing is relatable but I don’t find it relatable at all! I actually find it rather GROSS. I don’t want to talk body odor with you thanks so much!

“Here’s a solid stick of deo you can use on under your boobs or between your butt cheeks!” Ma’am, can we not be so intimate with these adverts? We haven’t even been formally introduced yet!

I kid you not I can’t escape these ads. If I’m scrolling on Tiktok I’ll run across at least two of them coming at me rapid pace and urging me to worry about the smells that may be happening between my thighs, between my my butt cheeks, and other unmentionable areas. A majority of the ads are done by Shannon Klingman who is not only the creator of Lume Whole Body Deodorant but also a gynecologist. But please, someone needs to tell her that being a doctor does not mean she can tell me my ass crack smells and I need Lume.

Listen, I respect your hustle Shannon but the marketing just isn’t for me. Sorry. I just can’t sit here and seriously listen to you describe smells radiating from people’s asses. My inner teenage boy demands to be let out so he can laugh at these ads.

You’re exhausting me, Lume. Please stop? Thank you. Sincerely, the Muse who doesn’t have a smelly ass crack.

How about you? Have you run into these annoying Lume ads? Or any other ads that you want to scream at the screen over?

Revlon Glimmer Blush Drops Review & Swatches

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.
2 stars out of 5

Time for a review of the new Revlon Glimmer Blush Drops and a story of how I had no idea how to get the blush out! Revlon Glimmer Blush Drops are a new liquid blush that came out with the Revlon Spring 2025 Collection and are available in three shade selections. Word on the street is Revlon Glimmer Blush Drops are a dupe for the much more expensive Hourglass Unreal Liquid Blush. I can’t say if that’s true! Sadly, I skipped out on Unreal Liquid Blush. I was going to purchase one but I decided against it. I just don’t make proper use out of cream or liquid blushes. I really should as a dry skin girl but I prefer powder and feel like I have better control over powder versus liquid. Anyway, these intrigued me particularly because two of the three shades are luminous in finish and I’m all about glowy blushes.

Let’s take a look!
