Seriously, they make me pissy when I get an e-mail with sale info that says “Do Not Share Me”. You’re trying to hard to be cute. Either that or you think we’re all stupid enough to NOT share your topic secret coupon code which 100,000 other people already know about. Oooo harvesting the power of subliminal messages in a not so subtle way. Bright!

Philosophy Miracle Worker SPF 55 Miraculous Anti-Aging Fluid, You NEED this!

Personally, I’m a self confessed lover of the Philosophy Miracle Worker Collection. I used the pads, I use the night cream, I use the serum…! Brilliant stuff!

So when I heard the word that Philosophy was extending the line to include an anti-aging fluid that was packed with SPF 55 I was so on board that train.

Miraculous?� Aw hells yes, I heard angels sing this week whenever I applied it on my face.

BB Creams are trending in the US at the moment and you’ll probably see more come the Fall I imagine. So far Smashbox, MAC, and Boscia have introduced BB Creams stateside with a special appearance by Korean brand name, Dr. Jart exclusively at Sephora.

BB Creams have been toned down a bit for the US market but the concept remains the same in some aspects. A creamy base product to flatter many skin tones that offers sun protection and a flawless finish that evens out skin tone. Whitening benefits, pigmentation, and some anti-aging benefits are missing from US versions but hopefully we catch up sometime soon to our Asian friends in this market.

Now that BB Creams are on the rise here what comes next?

That would be CC Creams or Color Control Creams. What’s a CC Cream? It’s the next generation BB Cream.

Matte…..the evilness in my otherwise perfect makeup world. Matte is such a damn difficult formula for me to get a handle on. Be it eyeshadow or lipstick, I just can’t do the matte thang!

I picked up some Bourjois So Delicate Lip Creams several months ago on ASOS even though the formula is all about the matte but curious I was so I snatched these up and called it a day. Why, oh, why did Bourjois pull out of the US? In other great news it’s now available in Canada…!

Let’s take a look at these and see if the matte agrees with me!
