Kate Walsh Boyfriend Eau de Parfum

I gotta admit when I first heard that Kate Walsh had an upcoming perfume I was kinda skeptical. Granted, I’m always a little wary when it comes to celeb fragrances but Kate Walsh? It seemed such an odd celeb to have an upcoming fragrance! I admit I never got into Private Practice and yes I feel guilty about that since I loved her character development on Grey’s!

When I think celeb scents I think Gaga, Mariah Carey, etc….Kate Walsh was more a TV personality not a movie star and not a singer so it was kinda weird to see someone who for the most part was famous on TV with her own upcoming fragrance. Don’t you feel the same? I’m having a brain fart kinda moment today because I honestly can’t recall a single TV personality who has their own perfume.

I missed the boat when Kate’s new fragrance, Boyfriend, released on HSN earlier this year because indeed I was judging the scent as a bad celebrity fragrance and was thinking it was even worst since it was a TV celebrity.

mark White Vetiver Fragrance

The hypnotic scents of spring in marks new White Vetiver fragrance mist will bring you a bit closer to the warmer months ahead. This beautiful scent combines the dark sweetness of Black Plum mingled with sparkling Mandarin, while lush fragrant petals of Tuberose Noir laced with White Jasmine exude a deliciously deep femininity.

It’s a fragrance kinda day here at Musings. I always get excited when Spring comes around as there seems to be a super flow of new fragrances that pops up!

Mark introduces White Vetiver this Spring which is exotic blend of smoky vetiver with notes of White Tuberose. The fragrance is $22 and available in a mist and creamy moisturizer for layering.

Avon always has a surprise or two lurking in their fragrance collection but I have yet to try Mark’s end (or at least I don’t believe I’ve tried any of their fragrances) so count me curious about this scent. I normally lean towards fruity, sweet but I can be enticed by something new and exotic.

How about you?

David Yurman The Essence Collection Fragrance

Renowned jeweler David Yurman has a new Essence Fragrance Collection. I was quite intrigued by this collection as it reminds me of the Marc Jacobs Splash Collection.

The collection was designed to be worn alone or paired together to create a unique fragrance experience.

The trio includes:

  • Delicate Essence (Tourmaline) Romantic and feminine, with notes of pink pepper, lotus blossom and sparkling orange.
  • Fresh Essence (Peridot) Crisp and playful, with notes of sparkling apple, cassis, juicy red fruits and fresh greens.
  • Exotic Essence (Citrine) Mysterious and sensual, with notes of sparkling mandarin, casablanca lily, rose petals and exotic woods.

Each scent is $85 and available at David Urman boutiques and www.davidyurman.com or at Bloomingdales starting next week!

I think they sound rather interesting. Loving the bottles!
