Milani Melange Infusion of Colors Marble and Milani Metallic Baked Eyeshadows

Late Winter, early Spring 2011 Collections are popping up in drugstores. I’ve been sneaking through CVS, Harmons, and Walgreens and seeing all sorts of goodies. I took some photos of various items and will be reviewing them all soonish but for now I thought you’d enjoy seeing and hearing about some of them.

Milani has a total of 14 (don’t quote me on that number) new eyeshadows out for Spring 2011. I confirmed with a rep that these are indeed set for a Spring release and part of the Spring Collection however my local CVS already has them out and available.

I blogged an earlier picture of the shadows I hauled which you can check out here.

Milani Melange Infusion of Colors Marble and Milani Metallic Baked Eyeshadows are a redesign of the standard Milani Runway Eyes Wet/Dry Eyeshadows.

I haven’t tried them yet but I will say some of the shades are stunning.

I’ll have swatches and a review up soon!

Feel free to tell me if you seen them at your local drugstore and if possible list which store, city, and town as it might help others in your location find them!

Note: Please do not hotlink images. If you’d like to share please link directly to this post. Thank you!

Shiseido Maquillage Powder Celebration 5th Anniversary Set Review, Photos, Swatches

My Shiseido Maquillage Powder Celebration 5th Anniversary Set arrived from Japan last week. Lots of squealing, hyperventilating, and screaming occurred during the surgical procedure of opening and unwrapping the contents of the box it arrived in.

It’s probably my most expensive makeup purchase I’ve made this Holiday season, tipping the scales at nearly $200 USD due to costly airmail shipping.

It’s gorgeous to say the least.

Let’s have a look!

Twirl by Kate Spade Review, Photos

Looking for a special Holiday scent for anyone? I always have trouble with this one. Scent is such a personal thing and it’s difficult figuring out what someone will and won’t love no matter how much you keep them in the forefront of your mind when purchasing. I know my own senses take over and I begin selecting scents that would appeal to me and not the person I am gifting.

If you happen to be in the market for a softer, feminine floral you might want to check out Twirl by Kate Spade. I told you about it months ago and really it was all about the name for me at the time since Kate Spade is one my fav designers. I own a few of her more whimiscal purses and bags but none of that follows through in her fragrance. Twirl is more about capturing soft floral notes and bottling them up into a garden bouquet.

Check it!
